Still here in season 11. A powerful yet easy build that turns you into a true battlefield commander.
This season, Shadow Mages are your best friends!

Use Blight and Reap to generate Essence & Corpses, boosting your damage and tankiness while your Reapers and Shadow Mages do the heavy lifting.
Bone Prison and Decrepify help reduce cooldowns and weaken enemies.
With Corpse Tendrils, you clear the campaign fast and safely — perfect for all players.
Finally, Army of the Dead delivers a massive burst to finish elites and bosses.

🔥 Top Necro leveling build — your Undead Army carries you to endgame without worrying about gear or complex rotations.

Strengths and Weaknesses

Powerful Skeleton Mage Army – good scaling and damage.
Excellent Single Target DPS — melts elites and bosses.
Low APM – chill and easy to play while staying efficient.

Minions AI still a bit dumb (Blizzy plz fix).
Weak AoE early — you really feel it until you get the Ring of Mendeln.
Low APM — also means you have to like when really chill.

🍀 Ideal if you're lucky, but the build still carries to 60 even with random drops.

💍 Ring of Mendeln: Replace Aspect of the Damned for huge minion DPS.

🖐️ Hand of Naz: Sacrifice Warriors for Skirmishers, unlock up to 14 Mages.
Remove Warrior Mastery, max Hewed Flesh and Necrotic Fortitude.

🩸 Blood Moon Breeches: Swap Cursed Aura for big DPS — just equip them!

⚖️ Even with low drops, it remains strong and fun — adapt as you go!

🩸 Cast Blight and Reap to boost your damage, generate corpses, and keep your tankiness up.

☠️ Let your Reapers & Shadow Mages do the killing — you're the commander of this dark army!

🛠️ If you get Cursed Aura or Blood Moon Breeches, weave in some Reap for extra buffs and battlefield cleanup.

🧠 Consume corpses with Raise Skeleton to maintain the +30% DPS boost for your minions.

💣 Finish elites and bosses with a massive Army of the Dead burst.
