Build Overview

This is easily one of the best, if not the best early game builds for Paladin. This build is ez AF to gear for and makes all T4 content trivial. Use this build to carry from leveling to endgame.

This build deals ALL of its damage using Arbiter of Justice Wing Strikes.

When in Arbiter of Justice form, the Wing Strikes will target the closest enemy and zap them, dealing AOE damage at their location.

You will permanently be in this form during all content, thanks to the Arbiter duration and cooldown reduction on gear/paragon board.

The only requirements to get this build functional and working are the Sanctis of Kethamar Amulet, and Aspect of Tyrael's Jurisdiction. Everything else will just increase its power level.

Strengths and Weaknesses

  • Strong
  • Easy to play
  • Easy to gear
  • Position based damage

Build Variants

Walking Strike: Does not include Falling Star or Arbiter of Justice on the skill bar. You stay in Arbiter of Justice form by pressing Condemn every 4 seconds. Walking around zapping everything. Yes, you can still spam evade if you'd like. I just enjoy going for a Walkadin. This variant is very chill to play. You can press every button (except Defiance Aura) or just press Condemn and you will melt all T4 content.

If you have GA double damage Arbiter aspect on Sanctis of Kethamar, you can temper Wing Strike damage on Shield instead.

Shield: Last affix can be whatever you need (CDR, Crit Chance, Armor, etc.)

Life on Hit/Life per 5 secs: these help tremendously with survivability. Don't sleep on these affixes.

Crit Chance: Between Fanaticism Aura/ Break the Line passive, if you have enough Crit Chance (74%) then roll it to another beneficial stat.

Paragon Board

Glyph Options

  • Final Board Glyph Options: Judicator, Challenger (Paragon 280+), Imbiber, Control. These are all suitable and personal preference. Imbiber is the strongest, but requires health potion spam and potion capacity on pants.

Paragon Pathing

Prioritize Legendary Nodes and Glyphs first, then go back to yellow rare nodes that are beneficial.

Mercenary

How it Plays

  • Cast Condemn to enter Arbiter of Justice form.
  • Cast Holy Light Aura, Fanaticism Aura, Aegis/ Purify and Consecration when you are on top of enemies
  • Continue to spam every ability EXCEPT Defiance Aura (unless you got CC'd)
  • Casting Defiance Aura is only useful to make you unstoppable (do not spam this, it will drain your Faith)

How it Works

We want to ALWAYS be in Arbiter of Justice form. Since this version does not have Arbiter of Justice ultimate on the skill bar we do that by utilizing the Disciple oath. Every time we cast a Disciple skill with a cooldown it refreshes our Arbiter of Justice form. So that means we need to cast Condemn or Falling Star (speedfarm variant) every 4~ seconds at the very least.

Since we are also using the Aspect of Ascension and Aspect of Celestial Strife, this means we have a ramp time. This build will start dealing max damage once the ramps are maxed out. For Aspect of Ascension, this stacks to 10 and Aspect of Celestial Strife maxes after 50 kills.

To help stay in perma-Arbiter form, make sure Arbiter temper on your boots is GA. Not to be confused with GA when Masterworking. This means when you temper (before qualitying at the Armorer), the value will show 67.5%. After you quality your boots, this number will jump to 78.7% without hitting Arbiter duration as the masterwork. If you masterwork Arbiter duration, it will jump to 100~% which is not needed. Make sure you also have the Relentless Legendary node in the paragon board and to ALWAYS keep moving. This gives us 30% cooldown reduction which reflects on all of our skills.

If you're constantly out of Faith, that means you are spamming Defiance Aura. Do not press that spell, unless you are Crowd Controlled. It eats thru Faith and does not need to be cast.

Crit Chance

Paladins are able to cap crit chance via Fanaticism Aura and Break the Line.

  • The more ranks you have in Fanaticism Aura, the higher your crit chance and attack speed will be. This number is multiplied by 4 as Fanaticism Aura stacks a total of 4 times.
Example: Fanaticism Aura with 1 rank is 2.0%. At 4 stacks, this gives 8.0% crit chance. At 5 ranks, it gives 2.8% per rank, or 11.2% crit chance.
  • Break the Line passive gives 2% crit chance per rank. Between using Shroud of False Death and depending on how many ranks you have on your Griswold's Opus, you can get up to 20% crit chance with 10 ranks (GA & Masterworked)

Block Chance

Block Chance is very important for Paladins. When Paladins are at 100% Block Chance, it blocks incoming damage by up to 70%. It is extremely important to have your Block Chance at 100%, not 99% or below. You get Block Chance from Shields, ranks in En Guarde and the following Paragon Boards: Shield Bearer, Castle and Beacon. Make sure your yellow paragon Block Chance Bonuses are active. You may need to use Diamond gems in your armor or incense like Spiral Morning to activate these. Rearranging your paragon board order will make the require stat bonus values cost less.
