Mekuna's Evade Storm Feathers

Season 10

Build Overview

Evade or Storm Feathers is currently the fastest Spiritborn build in the game. It performs well in all content, except for Pit Pushing. If you want to push the Pit with Spiritborn, you can use my [Payback] build.

This build uses the basic skill Thunderspike. Every third cast of Thunderspike reduces your Evade cooldown by 5 seconds.Evading also triggers Thunderspike. With enough cooldown reduction, you can effectively perma-evade. Combined with your Eagle Main Hall, each evade releases Storm Feathers that seek out enemies, deal damage, and boost your movement speed.

Strengths and Weaknesses

  • Fastest Build
  • Good Mobility
  • Auto Target
  • Not very good for Pit Pushing

Build Variants

Use this build once you've hit level 60 and unlocked Torment 1. It's perfect for progressing through Torments 1 to 4.

Requirements :

  • ‍Jacinth Shell - drops from Lord Zir & The Beast in the Ice
  • Loyalty's Mantle - drops from Grigoire
  • Alacrity seasonal power

Any extra Aspects and seasonal powers you pick up will give your build a huge power boost!

This version doesn’t rely on Chaos Armor, as it’s often difficult to get them in the right slots. If you do manage to find them, feel free to use them and check the “Endgame Mythic” variant to see the Best-in-Slot setup.

Masterworking (MW) enhances an item's stats. Each MW rank boosts all affixes by 5%, but Ranks 4, 8, and 12 give a 25% bonus to one random affix.

MW Rank 4 (blue): one affix gets a +25% bonus.
MW Rank 8 (blue or yellow): a second +25% bonus is applied, if it hits the same affix again, it turns yellow.
MW Rank 12 (blue, yellow, or orange): a third +25% bonus is applied, if an affix is hit three times, it turns orange.

Use the Masterworking menu at Blacksmiths. MW ranks can be reset if needed.
In this build, as you are leveling it doesn't matter too much, try to get 1-2 masterwork on the stats.

    How it Works

    Progressing from T1 to T4

Once you have all the requirements to get your build started, it’s time to start farming Pits.
This is the fastest way to level up your Paragon, since Pit completions give the most XP. The optimal strategy is to farm Pits that you can clear in around 3 minutes.

Pit rewards also include Obols, which you can spend at the Purveyor of Curiosities to gamble for Ancestral items to further improve your character.

Farming Paragon levels at this stage is very efficient. Unlocking Legendary Nodes provides a huge power spike, each granting roughly 50–60% increased damage.

You can also run Hordes to farm Chaos Uniques and powers. Hordes drop Obducite, which is used for Masterworking. At this stage, don’t focus on perfect Masterworks, just aim for steady progression.

Farming boss materials and doing Tormented Bosses like Belial in Torment III is also very worthwhile. There’s no need to wait until Torment IV. Securing Mythic Uniques early is often the key step to unlocking and switching into stronger builds.

Finally, start comparing your gear with the final build setup or an endgame version. This will help you identify which Greater Affixes (GAs) you should aim for as you optimize.
