    How it Plays

The main focus here is to rush between enemies using Rushing Claw Grouping Them Together with The Protector so you can stack up Poison Damage from Toxic Skin and Balazan's Maxtlatl before annihilating them with when Noxious Resonance activates.

The following steps are the recommended Build Rotation for skill usage:

    • Cast Toxic Skin to create a pool around you that constantly applies Poison DoT Damage.
    • Cast Armored Hide for 100% Block Chance.
    • Cast Counterattack for 100% Dodge Chance.
    • Cast Scourge for up to 50% Damage to Crowd Controlled Enemies.
    • Cast The Protector for Barrier Generation, Unstoppable and Immense Damage Output.
    • Cast Rushing Claw liberally around the other skills.

    Repeat each step as necessary

    How it Works

    Build Overview

This Poison Rushing Claw Spiritborn focuses on optimising the Damage from Toxic Skin + Balazan's Maxtlatl whilst staying tanky enough to beat all End Game Content. It does this through the following:

    • Rushing Claw to apply Poison from Toxic Skin and Balazan's Maxtlatl.
    • Generic Damage Scalars.
    • Using Rushing Claw as a High Mobility skill to quickly rush between Groups of Enemies.
    • Become Permanently Unstoppable via The Protector
    • Counterattack for 100% Dodge Chance in combat.
    • 100% Block Chance using Armored Hide.
    • Scourge for Crowd Control and up to 50% Damage to Crowd Controlled Enemies.
    • Scourge for Insane Resource Regeneration.
    • The Protector for incredible Utility including the Pull In from the Hesha e Kesungi.
    • Maxing Cooldown Reduction through Passives, Aspects, Equipment and Paragon.
    • Barrier for extreme tankiness.

Check out the In-Depth Explanations below for further details on the build.

    Extra Details

This is a new build that wasn't testing on the PTR so it will need some testing once we get deep into Season 11. This is similar to the build that broke the game a few seasons ago and has a lot of Poison Damage Scaling so it will definitely be able to clear all the game content without any problems.

Feel free to reach out to me via my Discord if you have and questions before I get a chance to test it.

    FAQ

If you have any questions about this guide feel free to reach out to me whilst live on Twitch, YouTube, Kick or X or contact me offline via my Discord.

Why Do You Use Prodigy's Tempo And Not Noxious Resonance To Start With?

It's recommended that you use Prodigy's Tempo in the Starter Variant because this will help with Skill Cooldown Issues early on and lead to a Smoother Progression Experience whilst you search for better gear.

Once you get to the T3 Variant you will probably have enough Cooldown Reduction across your build that you can justify swapping Prodigy's Tempo to Noxious Resonance.

You should also have the Swift and Rushing Claw Charges Temper by this point which helps towards being able to Perma-Cast Rushing Claw.

How do I make my Thorns Critical Strike and Overpower?

The only way that is available to allow your Thorns Damage to Critical Strike or Overpower right now is by using a Xan Rune which combined with the Yul Rune will cause our Thorns Damage being applied from the Balazan's Maxtlatl to have have a near 100% Uptime of having access to Critical Damage and Overpower Damage.

Why Does The Critical Damage And Overpower Damage Matter?

Having access to the Critical Damage and Overpower Damage multipliers that the Xan grants us allows for an enormous Damage Boost to the Thorns Damage being applied from the Balazan's Maxtlatl which is important because this occurs Before it is converted into Poisoning Damage so it is essentially scaling the base value that our Balazan's Maxtlatl uses.

This in turn is then scaled by our Poison DoT Damage multiplier provided by the Shattered Vow and provides Extra Poison Damage and Damage Over Time Duration.

How Much Cooldown Reduction Do You Need?

You will ideally aim for at least 40 - 50% Cooldown Reduction to help reduce the amount of Skills you have on Cooldown and to allow a 100% Uptime of Counterattack which grants you a Huge Thorns Damage Increase as well as increasing your Defence Drastically.

You can gain Cooldown Reduction through the following:

    • Harlequin Crest
    • Glove Affix
    • Ring Affixes
    • Amulet Affix
    • Sancitifcations

Why Do You Swap Spirit Halls?

In the Sanctification Variant you swap to using Eagle Secondary Spirit Hall as this grants us much more Damage than before at the cost of Ferocity Generation.

Note: This requires you to have the Aspect of Plains Power Enchanted or Sanctified on an Offensive Slot for this to function correctly.

    Do NOT swap before this!
