Build Variants

This variant is designed to get you started towards getting to T4 Content straight from Levelling.

For this build to function it is Mandatory to have the Rip and Tear Aspect but the Damage Roll isn't as important as the bonuses it unlocks.

You will ideally have a Sunstained War-Crozier by this point which makes the build functional.

Everything else is Optional but very nice to have.

If you have everything this requires be sure to check out the T3 Variant for Next Steps.

    How it Plays

The main focus here is to rush between enemies using Rushing Claw Grouping Them Together via the Kry Rune so you can annihilate them with the Enlarged Rushing Claw that is juiced up from the Rip and Tear Aspect and Poised Rushing Claw.

Because we have the Jaguar Primary Spirit Hall set all skills become Jaguar Skills so this synergise very nicely here.

You don't need to worry about capping our Critical Chance as the Rip and Tear Aspect allows your Rushing Claw to Critical Strike and Overpower for free so long as your have at least 4 Charges On Cast.

The Sunstained War-Crozier is a Very Strong option here as it scales our Rushing Claw Damage each time you cast Focus Skills so you will want to be sure to Cast Ravager frequently in combat.

The following steps are the recommended Build Rotation for skill usage:

    • Cast Ravager to stack Sunstained War-Crozier Damage.
    • Cast Armored Hide for 100% Block Chance.
    • Cast Counterattack for 100% Dodge Chance.
    • Cast Scourge for up to 50% Damage to Crowd Controlled Enemies.
    • Cast The Hunter for Extra Mobility, Overfill Ferocity Stacks and grant 50% Damage against Injured Enemies.
    • Cast Rushing Claw liberally around the other skills.

    Repeat each step as necessary

    How it Works

    Build Overview

This Rushing Claw Spiritborn focuses on optimising the Damage from Rushing Claw whilst staying tanky enough to beat all End Game Content. It does this through the following:

    • The Sunstained War-Crozier allows Huge Damage for your Rushing Claw.
    • Generic Damage Scalars.
    • Using Rushing Claw as a High Mobility skill to quickly rush between Groups of Enemies.
    • Become Permanently Unstoppable via Initiative after casting our The Hunter.
    • Double Jaguar Spirit Hall Potency from the Loyalty's Mantle for high Cooldown Reduction.
    • Counterattack for 100% Dodge Chance in combat.
    • 100% Block Chance using Armored Hide.
    • Scourge for Crowd Control and up to 50% Damage to Crowd Controlled Enemies.
    • Scourge for Insane Resource Regeneration.
    • The Hunter for Mobility and Ferocity Overstacking.
    • Maxing Cooldown Reduction through Passives, Aspects, Equipment and Paragon.
    • Barrier for extreme tankiness.

Check out the In-Depth Explanations below for further details on the build.

    Extra Details

This build did not work well during the PTR because it wasn't possible to get to a point where Rushing Claw could be reset to maximum charges fast enough to be useful.

A change was added in the Post PTR Patch Notes that allows Poised Rushing Claw to reduce the Cooldown of Rushing Claw Charges by 5 Seconds which makes the build viable with insane Cooldown Reduction Investment, Correct Tempers and Masterworking.

It's hard to gauge exactly where this will land in terms of Pit Pushing so I have decided to be conservative here and reckon it will get to at least Pit 90+ with the correct setup.

I will update where it stands when I get a chance to pull this together and test it with the new change.

With the correct gear this build should easily beat all the Hardest Content In The Game without issue.

    FAQ

If you have any questions about this guide feel free to reach out to me whilst live on Twitch, YouTube, Kick or X or contact me offline via my Discord.

How Do You Solve Getting To Maximum Rushing Claw Charges Between Casts?

To really make this build pop you need to understand exactly how it is allowing you to Scale It's Damage in a way that wasn't possible until the latest changes.

The goal here is Recharge Rushing Claw to Maximum Charges between Each Cast so that you can benefit from its Maximum Damage Output due to Poised Rushing Claw granting 50%[x] Damage per Charge on cast.

With Poised Rushing Claw equipped it grants you 12 Maximum Charges as well as the above Damage Boost but it also brings the problem that it Consumes All Charges on Cast with a Base Recharge Rate of 20 Seconds per 4 Charges on Rushing Claw.

A change was made to Poised Rushing Claw in the Post PTR Patch Notes where it will reduce your Recharge Time by 5 Seconds before Cooldown Reduction is taken into account. This change is very important as before this it was not possible to achieve Perma-Max-Stacks on Rushing Claw with Poised Rushing Claw equipped.

The first part of the puzzle goes without saying which is you will need the Maximum 75% Cooldown Reduction on your Rushing Claw. With Poised Rushing Claw equipped this instantly reduces your Recharge Time to 3.75s per 4 Charges.

With the use of Swift which reduces your Mobility Skill Cooldowns by 1 Second per Swift Rank it is possible to Instantly Recharge Rushing Claw when cast so long as you Travel Enough Distance to get the Maximum Benefit from Swift.

This is great but this only lets you Repeat Cast Rushing Claw with 4 Charges during combat unless you wait around an extra 7.5 Seconds to gain the extra 8 Charges required to be at maximum.

This is where the Rushing Claw Tempers come into play for Swift and Rushing Claw Charges.

One thing that won't be immediately obvious is that the Rushing Claw Charges Temper not only Increases Your Maximum Rushing Claw Charges, it also Increases the Charges per X as well.

This is incredibly important because by rolling a Maximum Rushing Claw Charges Temper and Masterworking it to a Minimum of +4 Charges, this will raise your Maximum to 16 Charges and your Charges per X to 8 Charges.

This has now brought you into a place where you only have to Recharge Twice to be able to reach Maximum Charges Each Cast or 3.75s Cooldown after cast.

To reduce that final 3.75s Cooldown you will want to get a minimum of 8 Ranks in Swift which can be achieved through the following:

    • Passive Tree
    • Shroud of False Death
    • Swift Temper

At this point you have pretty much solved the problem but there is one other consideration to take into account.

For Maximum Damage Output you can take Vehemence which Increases Potency Damage by 10% per Rank but it also Increases Potency Cooldowns by 5% per Rank making the Rushing Claw Recharge Problem a little tougher.

You will end up with +1 Rank in Vehemence by default with the Shroud of False Death equipped so I would avoid putting more ranks here unless you are going for Maximum Pushing Potential where you are going to have to get used to less Quality of Life and Learn to Time your Rushing Claw casts for Maximum Damage Output.

The Wildfire glyph and Prodigy's Tempo will assist here a little bit but as things stand you would need absolutely maxed out Tempers for both Swift and Rushing Claw Charges to consider maxing out Vehemence.

How Does This Build Critical Strike And Overpower?

Rushing Claw has an aspect called the Rip and Tear Aspect where as long as you have 4 Stacks of Ferocity you will Guarantee Critical Strike and Overpower.

Why Do You Swap The Aspect Of Redirect Force For The Aspect Of Potent Exchange?

In the Sanctification Variant you can swap to using Aspect of Potent Exchange on the Amulet because you are also able to Sanctify the Aspect of Redirected Force onto your Wushe Nak Pa.

This means you are not losing the benefit of the Aspect of Redirected Force whilst also Gaining the Benefit of Extra Damage from the Aspect of Potent Exchange.

This does bring a Secondary Problem that you need to solve as the Aspect of Potent Exchange Consumes Resolves Stacks to function so you will need a lot of them in order to fully benefit here.

Note: Look at the section below to see how we solve the Resolve Stack Issue.

How Do You Solve The Resolve Problem Potent Exchange Brings?

In the Sanctification Variant you are able to justify slotting the Aspect of Potent Exchange on the Amulet Slot but this requires 2 Resolve per cast to activate.

There are two methods you can use to solve this:

    1. Sanctify Aspect of Kinetic Suppression onto a Defensive Slot which grants you up to 8 Resolve per cast of Rushing Claw.
    2. Sanctify one of the many Offensive or Resource options from the list above onto a Peacemonger's Signet which Grants Resolve for each Ferocity Generated.

Each of these will work towards solving this problem but having both will completely remove it as a problem.

Why Do You Equip The Peacemonger's Signet?

In the Sanctification Variant you can swap a Legendary Ring with a Peacemonger's Signet since you can Sanctify Ruthless Aspect onto an Offensive Slot including the Peacemonger's Signet itself.

The Peacemonger's Signet isn't the most powerful Offensive Option but it does allow a way to Generate Near Infinite Resolve by Granting Resolve for each Ferocity Generated which goes incredibly well with the Aspect of Potent Exchange.

Note: This requires you to have Sanctified one of the mandatory Offensive Aspects onto an Offensive Slot for this to function correctly!

    Do NOT swap before this!
