This Chain Lightning Sorcerer build focuses on HUGE AoE damage to clear packs of mobs instantly for super fast leveling speed. Our points are invested into chain lightning and taking all the advantages of the new buffed Cracking Energy which is where most of our damage comes from. With lots of defensive and utility cooldowns to support them.
How far can this build go:
- Speed leveling through to 60 FAST
- Easy Torment 1 with no uniques
- Easy Clear High Torments, pits + bosses with basic GA gear.

How it Plays
- Use Unstable Currents to deal tons of damage
- Use Chain lightning until out of mana
- Use Spark to regain mana
Use these abilities as soon as they come of cooldown:
- Ice Armour to keep shields up
- Lighting Spear and Teleport to proc crackling energy
Divine Gifts (season 11 powers)
We only gain power from the gifts that we santify, so here is the recommended 4:
Andarial - Essence of Anguish - 30% movement speed
Asmodan - Essence of Hellfire - 10% chance to stun
Belial - Essence of Shadows - Unstoppable when crowd controlled
Durial - Essence of Pain - Gain max barrier when injured
How it Works
This is a pure chain lightening and crackling energy leveling build. Most of your damage comes from lighting just flying around the screen hitting everything.
Tips To Increase Damage:
- Always temper your damage items - weapon, gloves, amulet, rings
- Level up your chaos powers, this damage scales really well
- Attack Speed = more lightning and more damage, get as much as possible
