Build Overview

Welcome to one of the best Rogue Season 11 starter builds!

The Alchemist/Poison Dancer is perfect for Leveling, as well as for Midgame and speedfarming Endgame content. Once you reach the Torment tiers, you can either switch over to another build (like Flurry) or focus on the endgame variants of this build.

Once again, the main damage does not come from DoK itself, but from LHC flat damage sources and later Poison Trap. We try to stack as many Core Skill ranks & Lucky Hit chance as possible to proc Poison Traps with the Bursting Venoms aspect.

You can drop Concealment once you have unlocked Inner Sight and all Crit Chance passives (eg. Trick Attacks) for more mobility with Methodical Dash/Shadowstep or more damage with Caltrops/Smoke Grenade.

As a Leveling build, we focus on aspects that are easy to get with the Codex of Power. You can start the Season by completing the Dungeons, which drop these aspects, before you continue with the Season Quest or Helltide leveling.

Initially, it is unlikely that you will find all of these aspects. Other decent aspects to keep looking out for are Volatile Shadows, Bitter Infection, Synergy, Edgemaster, Retribution, Elements, or Stolen Vigor.

Do not care too much about Main and Off-Hand Weapons! Just take whatever has the highest amount of base damage (green numbers = good).

How it Plays

How to Spin 2 Win

  • Use Dark Shroud at the start of each Dungeon or if you lost all your shrouds
  • Make sure Shadow/Poison Imbuement is always active!
  • Use Health Potion every 10 seconds OR when engaging Elites for damage buff
  • Caltrops/Smoke Grenade for more damage if needed (replace Dash)

In the Poison variant, you want to cast Poison Trap every 10 seconds or when engaging Elites, but NOT more often than that! We do that to get a Damage buff & cast a free Death Trap with Scoundrel's Leathers (keep in mind that you auto-cast Poison Traps with Bursting Venoms aspect).

How do we apply freeze?

Icy Alchemist Aspect (Early/Mid-game) OR Thul Rune (End-game)

Why no Double Damage DoK tempers?

Because we scale our damage with Poison Traps in this build

How to cap out Armor & Resistances?

No Caps in S11 anymore...

How do I activate Barrier?

Ahu/Qax rune combination while casting Poison Traps gives you permanent Barrier
