Build Overview

The Penetrating Shot Rogue Endgame Build Guide teaches you about Gear, Skills, Paragon, Playstyle & Seasonal Mechanics in Diablo 4.

Penetrating Shot fires a piercing arrow that deals damage to monsters in a line. With Eaglehorn, the arrow can bounce off walls and turn Penshot into a true Area of Effect ability! Combined Poison Imbuement and Shadow Clone, it gains even more power and elemental synergies.

Build Variants

This is the Push Variant by our #1 Rogue Pusher Windforce.
The variant was made by him and further refined by M1PY.

Remember to skill Penetrating Shot: Ballista and equip Rustbitten Dirk.

Ferocious Aspect and Scoundrel's Kiss increase the base damage of Penetrating Shot through Penetrating Shot: Ferocity. This leads to higher Poison Imbuement ticks. This is inconsistent with how Poison Imbuement usually scales and likely a bug.

Specialization

Rotation:

  • Dash into packs and gain Stealth and Ferocity.
  • Dark Shroud is for defensive buffs, Dodge Chance and Movement Speed.
  • Concealment provides Fortify and Unstoppable with Recuperate Concealment.
    • Breaking Stealth activates Berú of the Sightless.
  • Activate Poison Imbuement to apply massive Damage over Time when shooting Ballista Penetrating Shot.
  • Use Shadow Clone for Vulnerable Application and to activate Aspect of Imitated Imbuement.
  • Spam Penetrating Shot at your enemies.
  • Preparation allows you to cast Shadow Clone very frequently to keep up Vulnerable.

Have you consider Zan Sol combo for the Mid and End Game sections? With as much as we're casting our ultimates that seems a better use than waitinf for challenging shout.

Would you not want poison res rolled on tibaults for stone of jordan over all res?

yes poison res genrally more than all res if u have jordan. and I would suggest shrouded gift intead of tibault for survivability since you spam concealment

How important is it to have the right prime evil power for this build? I chose Diablo at the beginning.

Not that important but you need another non-physical damage to proc etna. so at least try to have a charm that has 1 non physical attack other than poison or a prime evil power that is not mephisto.

I can suggest you shrouded gift. since you cast concealment every second or so it will give you better suvivability but %25 less damage. But I also use shrouded gift and I dont even need to run off those bastard sflying swords.
