Build Overview

The Dance of Knives Rogue Build Guide teaches you about Gear, Skills, Paragon, Playstyle & Seasonal Mechanics in Diablo 4.

Dance of Knives is the main driver of this build and combined with Poison Imbuement and the Star Shards Dance of Knives Upgrade for Dance of Knives it is a real powerhouse! In this build we are using the Fer of Spellbound Steel Set for maximum Spin2Win gameplay. No Snapshots, no intricate combos, just activate all the buffs and hold right-click.

Dance of Knives in addition to Dark Shroud can go beyond the 200% Movement Speed cap now.

This version is for relaxed gameplay. You only have to hold Dance of Knives most of the time. Due to the huge area from Star Shards Dance of Knives, you clear entire screens very quickly.
Until you have your Fer of Spellbound Steel Set, play Inner Sight instead of Preparation.

We get Inner Sight for free from Fer of Spellbound Steel and therefore pick Preparation for more Damage Reduction and more frequent use of Shadow Clone.

Rotation:

Activate Concealment, Dark Shroud, Poison Imbuement and Shadow Clone.
1. Re-cast whenever the come off Cooldown.
Use Dash to reposition and Stealth for Shrouded Gift.
Use Enigma's Evade Teleport to skip walls reliably.
Spin to Win with Dance of Knives.
1. There are no snapshots, you can stop and start the spin at any time without downsides.
Fer of Spellbound Steel Set automatically casts Cold Imbuement and Shadow Imbuement with all their upgrades after you activate Inner Sight with Poison Imbuement active.

Tips

Get Poison Resistance on your Charms to fuel Stone of Jordan, as it solves your defense.
Fist of the Iron Rose is proc'd by Dance of Knives: Star Shards, Dash and Shadow Clone
Deadly Strike Chance is the chance to deal double damage if you do not Critically Strike.

Runes

Use BacSol instead of BacLo if you want more defense.
Yax is automatically triggered every 4 seconds thanks to Fer of Spellbound Steel.

Leveling

If you have not reached Level 70 and Torment 1 yet, stick to the Leveling Build instead.

How do I apply Vulnerable?

Shadow Imbuement: Vulnerable. It is automatically casted from Fer of Spellbound Steel.

How do I get Fortify?

Concealment: Recuperate.

How do I get Barrier?

Cold Imbuement: Buffered Battery. It is automatically casted from Fer of Spellbound Steel.

How do I get Overpower?

Cold Imbuement: Overpower.

How do I get Ferocity?

Concealment: Ferocity and Dash: Primer.

How do I get Stealth for Shrouded Gift?

Concealment and Dash: Primer.

Dance of Knives Attack Speed Scaling

Attack Speed does not increase the rate at which Knives are thrown.
Instead, Attack Speed scales the Base Damage of Dance of Knives linearly.
If Dance of Knives Base Damage is 100% Weapon Damage, adding 50% Attack Speed increases it to 150%. This results in a relative increase of 50%.
If Dance of Knives Base Damage is 200% Weapon Damage, adding 50% Attack Speed increases it to 300%. So, a relative increase of 50% again.
To conclude, Attack Speed is its own separate multiplier for Dance of Knives.

Replace increased imbuement potency with damage over time for affixes to make your life a lot easier. Also ditch Shrouded Gift for regular Ancestral pants with Debilitating Toxins (Dex/Max Life/Armor + Max Life affix). Both those two things will increase your QoL tenfold while making you tankier and doing more damage.

It's so much easier than what is shown in this build.

I would suggest you some things cause I saw the first one's build in the ladder and he uses Leoric Crown, Infinity and Asheara's Khanjar replacing Grief, I also use Stealth instead of Enigma, what do you think about this ?

aufull bild! I'm new to the game and trusted this build. I've copied it almost 90% identically and I'm already paragon 231. Just missing some gems and a couple of stats aren't maxed out. And honestly, this build is terrible. It took me like 5 minutes to beat Diablo on difficulty 10!

Bit crazy that the mobi "team leader expert" has mistakes in nearly every guide and ignores almost ever comment made unless it butters his cracker. Ive yet to find a guide on this site without stupid decisions or completely scuffed progression in tree etc , do better , please
