Sever Shadow Assassin

This build is based upon the small amount of information we have publicly available and will be updated in full once the expansion goes live.

Sever has come back into the spotlight thanks to a lot of new buffs the build received such as Reaping Lotus Sever and Hangman's Hand acting as key parts of the build to bring out the builds full potential. Sever has always been a fan favorite and with the latest changes it's a build that's going to be here to stay.

1. Cast Sever to form a Corpses off the Crowd Control and Corpse Generation Sever upgrade
2. Cast Corpse Explosion to trigger Flesh-eater
3. Cast Corpse Tendrils to group enemies together and trigger Aspect of Grasping Veins
4. Cast Soulrift for essence
5. Spam Sever until enemies are dead
6. Cast Whirlpool Blight as needed for extra grouping

Sever is a straight forward skill which makes it a perfect beginner friendly build. The main idea is we want to use things like the Crowd Control and Corpse Generation Sever upgrade to spawn corpses while doing damage to enable things like Corpse Tendrils and Corpse Explosion for damage.

Hangman's Hand sounds unassuming at first glance, but in reality this one Unqiue is a 115%[x] multiplier just because the extra sever doubles our damage right out the gate. It also doubles the amount of Lucky Hit procs we can get which might become very relevant later as more things are revealed.

Essence generation can be solved in a few ways, Essence Generation Iron Maiden serves as the easiest way to gain Essence back and will be used at pretty much all points in the game. Soulrift offers near infinite Essence while its up so we focus on Soulrift Duration in the gear tempers to make the most of it. Cost Reduction Sever can also be used to further decrease the cost, which is especially useful for early game.
