  • Gift of the Stag gives us passive Spirit regeneration and also increases our maximum Spirit, helping us improve the sustain of our resource
  • Scythe Talons will help us gain more Critical Strike Chance before obtaining Waxing Gibbous. This is essential because it synergizes well with Lust for Carnage to help recover Spirit and also allows us to fully benefit from the key passive Lupine Ferocity
  • Avian Wrath is always mandatory in any Druid build — a huge boost to our damage
  • Energize is a key node to recover Spirit while we hit
  • Overload will help us poison enemies, allowing us to gain the benefits of having enemies under this effect

  • The starter version of Shred prioritizes stats like willpower, max life, attack speed, armor, and all resistances
  • The KEY ASPECTS for this build are the following: Dire Wolf's Aspect - without this aspect, you won’t be able to use Grizzly Rage with Shred Aspect of the Rabid Beast, Aspect of the Rampaging Werebeast, Stormclaw's Aspect

THESE ARE SOME UNIQUE ITEMS YOU CAN USE IF THEY DROP FOR YOU

  1. Godslayer Crown
  2. Mad Wolf's Glee
  3. Waxing Gibbous
  4. Temerity
  5. Banished Lord's Talisman

Skill Tree

  • Points in Maul are just to alternate and stack the Quickshift passive
  • obviously, +5 points in Shred to maximize the damage of this skill
  • in this case, we take +5 in Cyclone Armor to make the most of the damage reduction it grants us passively
  • Blood Howl will be our ally for recovering life, which synergizes with Temerity, and also increases our damage by 25%
  • in the tree, we take quite a few points in passives like Electric Shock, since Shred deals part of its damage as lightning thanks to Stormclaw's Aspect
  • +5 in Grizzly Rage is mandatory and will be our ultimate for this build
  • Our key passive will be Lupine Ferocity, which increases the damage of our critical hits, and with Waxing Gibbous we’re landing crits most of the time
  • The reason we use Earthen Bulwark is because when Grizzly Rage is not active, we’ll need extra defenses to survive. Earthen Bulwark will be a great help during those moments while we wait for our ultimate to come back up

Paragon Board

  • in the starter version of our paragon, we’ll use the Fang and Claw glyph first, since Shred is a close-range damage skill and this glyph is perfect for the start
  • the second page will be Lust for Carnage, as it increases damage and also lets us recover spirit thanks to our critical hits. The glyph here will be Headhunter, as it helps us gain willpower and grants damage to elites

Mercenary

  • Raheir is usually the safest option for the average player, since he gives us 15% more armor and helps us survive longer in battle.
  • Aldkin will help us stay alive longer in battle, since his ability reduces the damage we receive

How it Plays

  • The Shred build is simple to play: alternate between Maul and Shred to stack Quickshift
  • Then activate Grizzly Rage and start tearing everything apart with our core skill, Shred
  • Blood Howl helps us with healing and damage increase
  • REPEAT AND HAVE FUN

How it Works

GRIZZLY SHRED

  • The Shred build is a fast build—one that tears through enemies thanks to the following key pieces of gear
  • As our main aspect, we will use Dire Wolf's Aspect. This aspect is extremely important if we want to use Shred together with our ultimate Grizzly Rage, because combining them allows us to use our Werewolf abilities while Grizzly Rage is active
  • With this as the core mechanic of the build, we can also use the Aspect of the Rampaging Werebeast, which increases our DPS by a massive amount.
  • In addition, we take advantage of other key aspects like Stormclaw's Aspect, which adds Lightning damage as a percentage of Shred’s damage, and Aspect of the Rabid Beast, which while shapeshifted converts our direct damage into Poison damage
  • Key items we can use in this build include Waxing Gibbous, which guarantees Critical Strikes on our hits, allowing us to fully benefit from the Lust for Carnage node and the Lupine Ferocity key passive
  • When it comes to defenses, the most important item will be our Temerity pants, since they allow us to generate a barrier proportional to our maximum life.
  • We can maintain this barrier thanks to the Life on Hit affix on our gear, which you can see in its corresponding section
  • These are the core fundamentals of this build. Once you understand them, you’ll be able to play it comfortably and without any problems
