How To Scale Damage
Overpower Stacks:
One of the main ways every Necromancer build is scaling their damage in Season 13 is through the use of the Over Power mechanic in combination with
Red Blessing as a unique charm and
Dominate.
This build takes it one step further by using
Banished Lord's Talisman as well for even more incentive to stacking Overpower, as well as being the main way we stack Overpower.
Tidal Aspect becomes an incredibly strong aspect in combination with these 3, granting an additional 8 stacks when fortified from
Necrotic Carapace.
Damage Multiplier Affixes:
Season 13 has completely reworked the damage formula, with multiplicative damage bonuses now being added to gear slots. However these multiplicative bonuses are different than normal as they are additive when stacked. What this means is you want to spread out into every type of Multiplicative bonus a build has access to rather than stacking the biggest one.
In this build, we are looking for the following multiplicative stats without over stacking:
Critical Strike Damage multiplier, Vulnerable Damage multiplier, Physical Damage multiplier, and All Damage multiplier.
How The Mobility Works
Inexorable Reaper Sever has become the strongest tool in the Necromancers arsenal for incredible mobility.
Unlike in previous seasons when it was an aspect,
Inexorable Reaper Sever now has its mobility scale with Attack Speed - the faster you cast
Sever the faster you move.
And because this build is already stacking Essence Regeneration for
Bone Spirit it means we can spam this as much as we want for unlimited mobility.
This pairs perfectly with
Astral Projection Bone Spirit to create a playstyle similar to that of Ball Lightning Sorcerers and Hammerdin Paladin builds.
How To Generate Essence
This build heavily relies on Essence Regeneration affixes for its Essence gain, making greater affixes in wherever you can roll the stat a must have priority.
Gift of Death Skeleton Mage offers a rare multiplicative bonus to our Essence Generation, making every stat of it we can get in our gear extremely powerful.
Greater Affix Essence Generation in our rings also plays a massive part in our ability to reach enough Essence Regeneration to be able to spam
Astral Projection Bone Spirit.
a single Lucky Hit Primary Resource temper also makes into the build to help gain extra Essence when fighting bosses.
How The Grouping Works
This build utilizes an amazing combo between
Godslayer Crown,
Dizzying Curse Decrepify, and the Desecrated Charm set to instantly pull rooms of mobs instantly into your death blender
Astral Projection Bone Spirit.
The way the combo works is as following:
Crowd Control and Corpse Generation Sever will serve as our mobility as well as generate a corpse when it hits something.- The Desecrated Charm set will then apply to everything around the corpse.
Dizzying Curse Decrepify will apply a daze when applied which will then trigger
Godslayer Crown. - If that fails, we have
Wat and
Moni to help keep the CC combo continuous and seamless.
Why Desecration Charm Set Over Bone Weaver
While the Bone Weaver set is an amazing set in its own right, the Desecration Charm Set just solves so many issues for the build.
One of the main issues that Bone Weaver builds face is their lack of options when it comes to getting Fortified to turn on
Tidal Aspect.
Desecration solves this issue through the corpses spawned with the 2 set effect in combination with
Necrotic Carapace.
The Desecration set also makes the build play faster, giving players a zero button
Godslayer Crown pull through the combination of
Dizzying Curse Decrepify and the 3 set effect.
And lastly, the Desecration set offers more damage.
The Bone Weaver set grants 50%[x] Crit Damage bonus and another 175%[x] from the 5 set.
The Desecration set on the other hand offers 225%[x] just off its 5 set effect, with an additional 30%[x] off the 2 piece effect.
This does come at a cost of less Essence Generation. But with proper gearing the build is easily able to overcome that issue to enjoy higher damage, smoother gameplay, and fixing one of the core problems the build used to face.
