Build Overview

The Werenado Guide teaches you about Gear, Skills, Paragon, Playstyle & Seasonal Mechanics in Diablo 4.

Swelling Storm Tornado is the core skill of this build. It will be our main source of damage, allowing us to tear through the monsters of Sanctuary with ease.

When combined with Cornered Beast Grizzly Rage, Swelling Storm Tornado reaches an entirely new level of power, greatly increasing both its damage and lethality so you can tackle all of the game's content.

Thanks to the buffs to the Berú of the Storm Shepherd (set), this is shaping up to be one of the strongest Druid builds of the season.

On top of that, we'll be able to take advantage of the upgrades to the new Unique items by transforming them into Mythic versions, giving the build even more power and scaling in the endgame.

Rotation

The Starter version has a very straightforward playstyle and is easy to learn.

  1. Begin by casting Hero of the Storm Lightning Storm and Cataclysm to start the build's damage loop before engaging enemies
  2. Once your setup is active, use Swelling Storm Tornado as your primary damage skill to quickly tear through enemies. Tornado will be your main source of damage throughout the build.
  3. Keep Wolves active, as they provide a valuable Attack Speed bonus that greatly improves Swelling Storm Tornado effectiveness
  4. Use Blood Howl regularly before obtaining Malefic Crescent. It provides important Spirit regeneration and helps maintain smooth gameplay
  5. Cyclone Armor is primarily used as a passive defensive tool. However, its active effect can be used to pull enemies together, allowing you to optimize your damage and clear packs more efficiently

Paragon Board

The Starter and Mid Game versions prioritize Legendary Nodes over Glyphs. This setup is designed to reach those powerful nodes as quickly as possible and strengthen the build early on.

As you gain more Paragon points, transition into the Endgame versions and prioritize the Glyphs used in those final setups
