How to Overpower
This build relies on
Rathma's Vigor as its source of Overpower, which allows us to get a free Overpower every time we heal through Blood Orbs. And we generate Blood Orbs is through
Supreme Blood Wave and
Blighted Corpse Tendrils.
Doing this will also lower our Ultmates cooldown through
Fastblood Aspect, creating a powerful loop of continuous overpowering
Blood Wave.
Its important to note that the Blood Orbs generated from
Supreme Blood Wave will me applied every wave, meaning the
Tidal Aspect will make every
Blood Wave generate 6 Blood Orbs instead of 2.
Why Use Bloodless Scream?
Ultimate skills such as
Blood Wave scale incredibly well with skill ranks, increasing not only the raw damage more than normal skills do, but also lowering their cooldowns per skill rank. And because of how strong this is, its normally incredibly hard to attain extra skill ranks in your Ultimate. However, that's where
Bloodless Scream comes in.
Bloodless Scream gives a flat 4 (10 with a Greater Affix, full Quality, and Masterworked) skill ranks to all Darkness skills. And it just so happens that we have an aspect called
Aspect of Ultimate Shadowthat makes
Blood Wave inherit the Darkness tag. Meaning it gets up to a potential of 10 extra skill ranks for more damage and lower cooldowns, all the incredible Shadow multipliers, and up to a 100-200x damage multiplier from the passive of
Bloodless Scream. This once forgotten unique has found new light on
Blood Wave builds.
Uniques
Kessime's Legacy: The Chance for Blood Wave to Deal Double Damage roll allows for maximum damage, with Ultimate Cooldown Reduction also being an important stat to getting your Ultimate cooldown as low as possible.
Bloodless Scream: The other core unique for the build, allowing us to massively increase the base damage of our Blood Wave as well as reducing the cooldown of it through the increased skill ranks afforded by the weapon thanks to
Aspect of Ultimate Shadow allowing
Blood Wave to meet the darkness skill requirement.
Shroud of False Death: 1 to all passives as well as a high HP and all stat roll makes this item give way too much tankiness and damage to pass up.
Heir of Perdition: Massive damage multiplier that also has some nice lucky hit chance and movement speed.

Elixers and Incesnses
With the abundance of herbs now in the game it is now very easy to grab some consumables to either shore up big weakness with your character or to massively increase your strengths. I highly recommend you regularly keep Elixirs and Incenses running. Below I laid out the best consumables to use for every situation.
Elixirs
If you need more of any specific resistance or armor, use those elixirs first. Once your armor capped and resistance capped, look to use the Elixir of Precision for the extra crit chance and damage. If you're having trouble staying alive and your armor capped and resistance capped, you can use the Elixir of Fortitude to gain a 20% hp multiplier.
Incenses
For incense you have a couple of options, depending on what your character needs.
Core Stat
Sage's Whisper: Generally the best option as it gives the most amount of damage.
Spiral Morning: Not a bad alternative, as the all stat gives some armor and also helps hit breakpoints in paragon tree. Only use if there's specific paragon nodes you're trying to reach.
Resistance
Soothing Spices: Best all around option as it gives +10% all resistances and +2% max resistance to everything. Only use another option if needed to hit resistance caps.
Defensive
Song of the Mountain: Great early game option for the +300 Armor
Reddamine Buzz: Gives +750hp, best option if you are already armor capped.
