Blood Surge has amazing AOE which makes it great for leveling. It also has great boss damage once you get the Cruor's Embrace.

How it Plays

Cast Soulrift if there is an Elite or Boss
Use Blood Surge as long as you have enough Essence
Generate Essence with Iron Maiden against many enemies or Hemorrhage against low amounts of enemies

How it Works

This build destroys helltides and is great for leveling. To scale into the end game it's really important to get Cruor's Embrace as fast as possible. You want to avoid bossing while leveling as much as possible as Blood Surge is very weak against bosses until you get Cruor's Embrace.

Damage Output

This setup will be able to deal loads of damage in AOE, and still have decent single target thanks to Blood Boiling Aspect. This aspect falls off hard late game, but while leveling does a devasting amount of damage.

Cruor's Embrace

Your number 1 priority after hitting level 60 is to the Cruor's Embrace. It has the highest drop rate from Lord Zir but any of the bosses can now drop them.
