This
Hell Fracture build absolutely decimates the endgame and feels significantly smoother to play than many of the other warlock builds, not relying as much on conditional damage while also getting to play at ranged. If you're sick of
Apocalypse or
Dread Claws and want something that's smooth and cozy to play that also annihilates all T12 content & Uber Mephisto, this is the build for you
Build Overview
Strengths and Weaknesses
- Insane Damage
- Low Gear Requirement
- Smooth
- Stationary when casting
- Squishy
Build Variants
This version of the build is largely the same, it just assumes you now have some uniques which provide an enormous amount of additional power for the build, and hopefully you now have 5pc of the
Fer of Horazon's Chains set which gives us a ridiculous amount of extra damage and defense with 100% uptime
Equipment

This build doesn't rely on any items to get going, it's very strong right out of the gate, but here's the items that take it to the next level:
Spine of Tathamet is a pretty significant damage increase, simply just makes Hell Fracture do more damage. It can be obtained by killing Harbinger of Hatred or crafting it via the Horadric Cube, which you can do my removing affixes on a 900 item power 1h mace to make it common, and then turning it into a unique
The Hemat Stone synergizes very well as it gives additional overpower stacks to further scale
Banished Lord's Talisman and our
Abyssal Fragment - it drops from Bartuc from infernal hordes, alternatively you can try to obtain it by killing Belial with betrayer's husks and picking Bartuc as your rewards. Until you get it you can use a normal legendary amulet.
Banished Lord's Talisman specifically as a charm/talisman is extremely potent, you can also use this as your actual amulet until you get
The Hemat Stone. It's in the general loot pool so you can't target farm it, i'd recommend converting common 900 item power amulets into uniques via the Horadric Cube and hoping to get one that way
Footfalls of the Waning World are an incredible defensive option for us as it allows us to spam
Nether Step for huge damage reduction, in addition to no longer needing
Nether Step on our bars. These are entirely useless if they don't roll with +maximum evade charges or attacks reduce evade cooldown
Heir of Perdition and
Ring of Starless Skies gives you an enormous amount of crit chance as well as being generally good for overall damage allowing you to swap off of
Aspect of Calamity to min-max your damage a bit more by gaining another damage aspect. This isn't a huge damage increase so I'll have a separate version of the planner for "pit pushing" as you'll need to swap around a lot of your gear to make this setup worth it.
Tyrael's Might just gives a lot of DR and resists
Planner Fixes
- Overpower is actually Overpower per Stack.
Affix Priority
- Critical Strike Damage Multiplier
- It's by far our strongest affix once we get a high Critical Strike Chance
- Vulnerable Damage Multiplier
- All Damage/Shadow Damage Multiplier
- Attack Speed
- Willpower
- Weapon Damage
- Maximum Life
You want at least 1 piece with vuln damage multi greater affix + MW crit > crit multi once you have really high crit multi due to diminishing returns. - Armor
If you feel squishy prioritize more life/armor on your gear

Transfigurations
For the love of god do not transfigure your items unless you are deep into endgame / 100% certain you won't need to change anything about that item again
I still don't know all of the possible transfigurations but here's my best estimation for BiS transfigures per item
-
Aspect of Rallying Reversal or
Undying Aspect Transfiguration on Amulet - Some people use
Exploiter's Aspect but I'm personally not a fan, even in pushing scenarios - - For weapons the best transfigure is to try and get Gem Strength Multiplier on a 2her as this is a massive damage increase.
- Other good weapon options include: Crit Chance > Attack Speed > Quality > Shadow Damage Multi > % Max Life > Willpower
Heir of Perdition try and get gem strength multi and put an Amethyst + Sapphire in it, otherwise Crit Chance > Attack Speed > Quality > Shadow Damage Multi > Willpower - Armor: Attack Speed > % Max Life > % Resistance > Quality > Shadow Damage Multi > Willpower
- Jewelry: +4 Occult/All Skills > Willpower > Quality > Resistance to all elements >
Talisman

Long term
Berú of Horazon's Chains is BiS and mandatory for the build, early on you can use 2pc + 2pc of
Fer of the Nameless and
Berú of Mefis' Fulcrum or
Berú of Abaddon's Flesh
Skills & Rotation

Apocalypse is purely for
Survivor Damage Apocalypse for a juicy 100% increase in damage. We can reliably proc this by using
Chain Whips Umbral Chains +
Annihilation Apocalypse
In this setup we opt out of
Nether Step on your bar because we can get
Footfalls of the Waning World with + evade charges to massively increase our mobility, while freeing up a very valuable skill slot on our bar
If you don't have resource problems you can consider swapping
Command Fallen into
Bombardment with
Endless Barrage Bombardment,
Additional Demon Bombardment
Telekinesis Bombardment. It's more damage uptime for Fathomless it's just more effort to keep the buff up while
Meat Shields Command Fallen is entirely automated
Talisman notes
Banished Lord's Talisman lords is BiS - try to get one by using the horadric cube to turn 3 other unique charms + the amulet itself into it
Crown of Lucion is similarly powerful but induces a steep resource cost
Anathema of the Primes is decent for damage
Temerity is very good allowing you to not have to use the actual pants themselves
Skill Tree
0 (0)Points are spent on
Dark Prison because we are using the 'Prid' rune to gain it for free, it gives an insane defensive layer.

Frequently Asked Questions
Because we make
Hell Fracture an abyss skill we can take advantage of juicy abyss synergies, namely Hex through the
Ritualist Shard, instantly applying max hex stacks to every enemy we fight which is massive for quality of life and damage. We scale our overpower damage into the moon because we get access to free overpower constantly through
Summon Vollach. The rest of our abilities are mainly just to scale nodes in our paragon board,
Sigil of Summons is for Ritualism,
Command Fallen /
Bombardment is for Fathomless and we use
Apocalypse eventually for the massive 100x multi it provides through
Survivor Damage Apocalypse which lasts for 6 whole seconds.
We have near infinite resource generation simply through the
Wrath glyph.
We get free access to fortify through
Dark Prison providing us a lot of defense and legendary aspect synergies
