Build Overview

Pulverize is one of the strongest build of the Druid if not the strongest!
The Unique Rotting Lightbringer allows Pulverize to deal guaranteed Overpower damage without needing any Overpower sources. Combined with Shockwave, this can achieve more damage hits from a single Pulverize cast. It greatly solves the original issue of Pulverize lacking single target damage. In S10 the seasonal power Overabundance increase Pulverizedamage even more.

Skill Rotation

  • Before the fight, stack 6 Quickshift layers by alternating Pulverize (to enter Werebear) and Greet (to revert to human), then repeating until capped.
  • Activate Grizzly Rage, and if needed, use during it to refresh and reach 6 Quickshift stacks again.
  • While fighting, move and cast Pulverize simultaneously (similar to ADC kiting in League i.e hit and run); this is easy on controller, but PC players may need an extra strafing keybind.
  • Against bosses, circle around to consistently hit 2+ poison pools with Pulverize for maximum damage.

Masterworking (MW) enhances an item's stats. Each MW rank boosts all affixes by 1%, up to 25 ranks. Fully Masterworking an item now gives a 50% upgrade to a random affix, which can be a Tempering Affix. The boosted affix will be colored differently to highlight it.

Use the Masterworking menu at the Blacksmith. You can reset the final Masterwork, so feel free to reroll it until you hit one of the recommended stats for the extra 50% bonus.

  • Level all your Glyphs to 15 first, one by one.
Then take each Glyph to 46, also one by one.
Once all of them are 46, you can level them evenly to 100, the order doesn’t really matter at that point. Make sure to unlock all the Legendary Nodes first.

    How it Works

    Frequently Asked Questions

In the mid game, if you want to use Qax (which can significantly improve your damage potential), you may run into resource generation issues. If you have Greater Affix Resource Cost Reduction, you don’t need to worry about it

Compared to other gear slots, GA on your weapon and amulet are more important. Please make sure your weapon has at least ≥560%

    Speedrun
you can use Jah to improve mobility. If you feel your movement speed is too slow, using Shifting Powder can give you a 70% movement speed boost.

    Tips:
    1. Using Lv5 Grizzly Rage provides +30% armor; just make sure your armor is ≥1000 during Grizzly Rage.
2.This build uses Incense by default, which provides you with a base 150 armor and 10% resistance to al Elements.

    Progressing from T1 to T4

There’s only one variant for progressing from T1 to T4 because in Diablo 4 you can get all the best gear even in T1. You can usually speed-farm T4 with basic Ancestral gear, even if you only have one Greater Affix.
Most of your damage actually comes from Paragon Points, unlocking the Legendary Nodes gives a huge power spike.

Once you have all the requirements to get your build started, it’s time to start farming Pits.
This is the fastest way to level up your Paragon, since Pit completions give the most XP. The optimal strategy is to farm Pits that you can clear in around 3 minutes.

Pit rewards also include Obols, which you can spend at the Purveyor of Curiosities to gamble for Ancestral items to further improve your character.

Farming Paragon levels at this stage is very efficient. Unlocking Legendary Nodes provides a huge power spike, each granting roughly 50–60% increased damage.

You can also run Hordes to farm Chaos Uniques and powers. Hordes drop Obducite, which is used for Masterworking. At this stage, don’t focus on perfect Masterworks, just aim for steady progression.

Farming boss materials and doing Tormented Bosses like Belial in Torment III is also very worthwhile. There’s no need to wait until Torment IV. Securing Mythic Uniques early is often the key step to unlocking and switching into stronger builds.

Finally, start comparing your gear with the final build setup or an endgame version. This will help you identify which Greater Affixes (GAs) you should aim for as you optimize.
