Build Overview

Do you want to be a Zoo Keeper?, with an absolute legion of pets to do your bidding? Well this build is for you! This build can roll through Torment 12's, take on every boss in the game, and can speed farm effortlessly. And the best part, it is incredibly easy to play.

Here is the sheer swarm of pets you will have in this build:

  • 6 Werewolf Pack Wolves
  • 5 Poison Creeper
  • 8 Ravens
  • 4 Bears
  • 5+ Spirit Wolves

So How do we generate all this pets, and how does it become so strong?

  • The Accord of the Wilds gives us 1 extra of each companion.
  • The Aspect of the Stampede also gives 1 extra of each companion.
  • And the new tier set BerĂº of Nafain's Bestiary gives us one of extra companion AND adds bears to our zoo.

We then scale our damage with a collection of aspects, but one in specific gives us extra power for each companion we have, Shepherd's Aspect.

Importance of Shepherd's Aspect:

Because we can scale such a huge amount of companions, this is 26% BASE damage per companion. with the max of around 28 companions, that's 728% damage before any multipliers.

Strengths and Weaknesses

Is Mythic Needed?

Absolutely not, the Heir of Perdition is just crazy OP this season, so grab is as your first mythic craft. If you don't have it, you can use Aspect of Anger Management aspect on your helmet. As this gives us beserking damage. We never use our resource so it should have 0 negative impact.

Why 2 Hander?

This build is about having as many pets as possible, so the Shepherd's Aspect gives us a massive damage boost (more damage per pet we have). So putting it on a 2h gives it 200% the effect. Pets go brrrrrrrr.

Tempers:

We are tempering for 2 things:
1. Critical Strike damage as this is our MAIN driver of multiplicative damage.

2. Max Resolve Stacks - this gives us damage reduction via Aspect of Glynn's Anvil and a damage boost via Might of the Ursine.

UNIQUE CHARM:
If you haven't watched the video explanation its easy to miss that we are using a unique charm Might of the Ursine. This essentially lets us have a unique power without needing the unique equipped. If you do not have this charm, use the unique ring in place of Hellbent Commander Aspect. As this gives us 13% damage per resolve stack, and we have around 30+ stacks of this, so don't miss out on 350%+ damage!

Stats that are good for Talisman/Charms:

  • Skill Ranks for our wolves
    • We can also take + storm skills, as our wolves are tagged storm
  • Critical Strike Chance
  • Critical Strike Damage
  • Vuln Damage
  • Cooldown Reduction

How it Plays

You just walk and let all your pets ravage the enemies. Your main gameplay is activating your pet abilities and buffing your defences.

  • Cast your pet abilities instantly when they come off cooldown
    • Wolves
    • Ravens
    • Poison Creeper
  • Keep Petrify and Earthen Bulwark up at all times
  • Debilitating Roar near enemies to debuff them and buff ourselves.

This is the priority rotation. but to be honest, you can just just cycle through your buttons while half paying attention and everything will still go down instantly :D

How it Works

If you made it to the bottom of the guide, you're here for the nerd stats. Lets lets break it down.

How are we driving our damage, and how do we get from 100k damage to the billions:

1. Pet Damage Stacking:

We get as many pets as possible with the following items

  • Accord of the Wilds +1 all companions
  • BerĂº of Nafain's Bestiary adds bears to our pets and + all companions
  • NaguCeh - these runs let us summon spirit wolves and we can maintain 5+ constantly.

And we ramp pet damage with the following:

  • Shepherd's Aspect gives us 26% damage PER PET, which is around 700% damage boost
  • and tons of other aspects and paragon nodes that give + companion damage and attack speed.

2. Resolve Stacking:

We stack resolve everywhere we can get it, including + maximum resolve stacks as tempers. You should be sitting at between 20-35 on an endgame build. We then turn that into a massive scaling damage with Might of the Ursine. Giving us between 300-400% damage bonus.

And we can get a defensive bonus from this with Aspect of Glynn's Anvil at 3% damage reduction per resolve stack. which is huge.

3. Critical Damage the secret sauce:

This is how we go from millions to billions

Critical Strike Chance:

  • We can temper critical hit chance on our weapon for 10-15%
  • Can roll it on your stats too, look for a good critical hit chance 10% on your amulet.
  • Grab all critical hit chance from paragon board
  • Scythe Talons in our druid spirit boon for 5%

Critical Strike Damage:

  • Avian Wrath spirit boon 20%
  • Temper critical strike damage as ALL offensive tempers. if you hit this with masterwork too, you can get almost 100% extra damage PER ITEM.
  • Critical strike damage multiplier get this on all gear you can find, this again with masterworking and greater affix can hit over 70% per item.
  • Petrify gives us 37% bonus critical strike damage.
  • Spirit paragon glyph gives us TON of extra crit damage when we level it up.

4. Storm Skills?

We are we taking storm damage?? when we don't cast

There isn't enough different damage types in the paragon board to be a full pet build, so we dip into storm damage. by taking Storm's Companion our werewolves become storm wolves and get the storm tag. Meaning anywhere we can boost storm damage, we boost our wolves. Letting us take advantage of Thunderstruck, and any storm modifiers.
