Gift of the Stag will help us regenerate Spirit while also increasing our maximum Spirit. This lets us scale Cataclysm damage even further thanks to the Ancestral Guidance node

Avian Wrath is the best option here. It increases our Critical Strike Damage by 20%

Calamity helps us increase the duration of Cataclysm

Obsidian Slam works perfectly in this build thanks to Tectonic Spikes Cataclysm, since Cataclysm is now considered an Earth skill

Calm Before the Storm is crucial for resetting Cataclysm. This allows us to keep using it repeatedly before its duration runs out

Talismans

Talisman Priority
+4

In the starter version, this is a great option before obtaining the full Old Mountain set. It increases your damage with the 2-piece bonus and also provides Damage Reduction with the 3-piece bonus. Replace it once you get a 5-slot charm and complete your full Old Mountain set

Skill Tree

Available3 (0)
Spent69 (11)

The biggest difference in the skill tree is replacing Hurricane with Wolves, since at these levels our Spirit regeneration is not very strong yet

Paragon Board

The Paragon setup is designed to reach the Legendary Nodes as quickly as possible

Mercenary

How it Works

Cataclysm stands out thanks to its unique combination of Storm, Earth, and Werewolf interactions, even though the build itself is mainly played in Werebear form. This allows the build to take advantage of some of the strongest Druid multipliers available, especially Might of the Ursine. On top of that, Resolve stacking remains one of the core mechanics, providing massive offensive and defensive scaling at the same time.

Since Cataclysm is a duration-based skill, maintaining overlapping casts is extremely important for keeping the build smooth and consistent. Cooldown Reduction, combined with Aspect of the Orange Herald and Calm Before the Storm, helps maintain near-constant uptime and greatly improves the overall flow of combat.

One of the biggest strengths of the Cataclysm Druid is how simple and comfortable it feels to play. Most abilities are automated, allowing you to focus on movement and positioning while still dealing huge damage. This makes the build an excellent option for speed farming and for players looking for a low-maintenance setup capable of handling all kinds of endgame content.
