Both versions are quite similar. If you want more damage, you stack the
Provocation passive. You’ll need
Maul to stay in Werebear form for 10 seconds. Once you reach 10 stacks of
Provocation, cast
Cataclysm to guarantee an Overpower hit. I highly recommend this mechanic when facing tougher monsters like Belial or The Butcher. If you’re doing Helltides, you probably won’t need this mechanic
In the version with
Insatiable Fury, this mechanic is even more powerful because we have the chest equipped and are also using
Ursine Strength. This means we won’t need to use
Maul to stack, since we’ll be in Werebear form all the time thanks to
Insatiable Fury
In the version with
Mad Wolf's Glee, we use
Hurricane, which gives us damage reduction and also +5 to our Shapeshifted skills like
Cataclysm. This boosts both the damage of the skill and its duration
In both versions, all defensive skills are necessary to survive longer in battle, mitigating damage, generating Barriers, and boosting our buffs (
Blood Howl
Debilitating Roar
Earthen Bulwark
Cyclone Armor)
