  • Gift of the Stag helps with Spirit sustain so you don’t run dry during gameplay. If your gear is well-optimized, you can drop it and switch to a Prickleskin damage boon or Wariness for added resistances.
  • Avian Wrath is the best option to increase your critical damage in this build
  • Calamity increases the duration of Cataclysm, allowing you to stay in that state longer and deal more damage
  • Obsidian Slam gives you more damage and resolve generation
  • Calm Before the Storm is an essential boon for resetting Cataclysm through Dolmen's Will Boulder. This allows you to push safely while your cooldown refreshes much faster

Skill Tree

Our defensive skills are necessary for surviving longer in battle. Debilitating Roar reduces the damage we take. Earthen Bulwark activates automatically through Nagu - Que. And Cyclone Armor will mostly be used passively to increase our resistances

The Wolves give us Berserking for 4 seconds. This creates damage windows from time to time, and also helps trigger Nagu - Que. The same goes for Ravens, where we use a modifier to gain Resolve Resolve Ravens

Boulder is the star of this build. Dolmen's Will Boulder allows us to cast Boulder and move around with the Boulders orbiting us. This modifier is crucial Critical Strike Chance Boulder

We use Cataclysm with Tectonic Spikes Cataclysm to contribute more damage to the build, since it counts as an Earth skill. It also helps the Talisman store more damage

Paragon Board

The starter Paragon setup is designed to help you reach the Legendary Nodes as quickly as possible, since at these levels they are the main priority for increasing our damage

Mercenary

Raheir will help increase our resistances early on.

How it Plays

CATACLYSM VERSION

  • The Cataclysm version is played like this: activate Cataclysm, and then your Boulder will do all the work
  • Activate your defensive skills whenever necessary, such as Debilitating Roar and Cyclone Armor
  • The Wolves will give you Berserking for 4 seconds. Repeat the entire process

GRIZZLY RAGE VERSION

  • Activate Grizzly Rage before entering battle. The important mechanic is trying to evade through enemies so Flickerstep can reduce its cooldown by up to 10 seconds
  • Cast Boulder to deal damage. The rest of the abilities work the same as in the Cataclysm version

How it Works

Welcome to the Dolmen's Will Boulder Druid Endgame Guide! This build creates massive Boulder that orbit around you, turning your character into a walking path of destruction. Dolmen's Will Boulder is what enables the entire build, but it comes with a very high Spirit cost, which makes resource management one of the most important mechanics early on. Because of this, Spirit Regeneration and Resource Cost Reduction are extremely high priorities until you begin obtaining Mythic items.

This build also features the Song of the Old Mountain setup, such as Berú of the Old Mountain, which rewards grouping enemies together and dealing massive burst damage through explosions.

Our main gear mechanic revolves around maintaining constant Spirit regeneration. This is where Tibault's Will becomes extremely important, since it allows us to regenerate Spirit every time we become Unstoppable. We achieve this through the Unstoppable Earthen Bulwark modifier, while Earthen Bulwark itself is activated through Nagu Que. This interaction becomes one of the most optimal ways to survive while also sustaining our resources at the same time.

Another important mechanic is the secondary ring setup. You can choose between Fractured Runestone or Might of the Ursine depending on which ring has the better affixes. The stronger ring is equipped normally, while the weaker one is used as a Charm, and vice versa.

Stacking Resolve is mandatory for scaling damage in this build due to the interaction with Might of the Ursine. Because of that, we use Resolve tempering on our Chest, Helmet, Pants, and Amulet.

Flickerstep is one of the biggest upgrades for the build because it allows you to move through enemies frequently thanks to the “Attacks Reduce Evade Cooldown” affix. This is extremely important for consistently resetting Grizzly Rage and maintaining smooth gameplay during endgame content.

Ring of Starless Skies plays a massive role by heavily reducing our resource costs while also providing incredible endgame affixes. On top of that, it grants up to 50% increased damage, making it one of the strongest Mythic items available for the build.

Finally, Heir of Perdition is our best helmet option because it massively increases our Critical Strike Chance while also boosting our damage by 80%. In short, it functions as almost double damage for the build overall

Changelog

Aspects, skill tree, paragon, and affixes have been changed and optimized. This is a different version from the one shown in the video! The builds keep evolving as the season goes on. We’re still discovering what the best setup truly is. Thanks!
