This build deletes everything with Cataclysm as you walk.

With this build you'll be able to shut your brain off and relax as you casually farm Torment 12+ content. No button presses required outside of the occasional re-cast of your ultimate.

  • Good Survivability
  • Maxed Movement Speed
  • Torment 12+
  • Not intended for Pit pushing. It can casually clear Pit 120+ but don't expect to be hitting the leaderboards or maxing Glyphs easily.

Important Notes

  • Generally a bad Mythic item will be worse than a non-Mythic with better affixes.
  • Don't overlook the survivability of getting better gems in your jewelry.
  • Aspect of the Orange Herald is required to maintain Cataclysm unless you invest heavily into CDR rolls.

  • Locran's Talisman - General Pool
  • Mjölnic Ryng - Bartuc (If you have enough CDR to not need Aspect of the Orange Herald)

For General Pool unique items, you can upgrade a white Ancestral of the correct base type to Unique in the Horadric Cube. Chances depend on the number of unique items in that item type.

Stat Priorities

Offensive

  1. Critical Strike Chance (No more than 100% after factoring in The Basilisk and Locran's Talisman)
  2. Critical Strike Damage Multiplier (Main GA and Masterwork focus)
  3. Vulnerable Damage Multiplier (Masterwork upgrade at least one with GA)
  4. All Damage Multiplier (Masterwork upgrade at least one with GA)
  5. Weapon Damage (Only on weapons)
  6. Willpower (Always prioritize on armor)
  7. Skill Ranks
  8. Maximum Resource (Buffs Ancestral Guidance damage)

Defensive

  1. Maximum Life (You want this on all items unless you feel you can remove some and stay alive)
  2. Resistance (Get as much as you can without giving up Willpower or other important affixes)
  3. Armor (Be sure to have at least one affix on items minimum, but get as much as you can)

Utility

  1. Movement Speed (No more than 200%)
  2. Cooldown Reduction (Just enough to maintain Cataclysm 100% of the time)

  • Nature Magic skill ranks are ideal, but Shapeshifting, Werewolf, Earth, and Storm all work as well.

Important Notes

  • Cyclone Armor is used automatically by Gathlen's Birthright.
  • Wolves are entirely passive for an Attack Speed buff and can tank for you.
  • Ravens are entirely passive for Resolve and adding to Nagu Rune.

Skill Rotations

  1. Use and maintain Cataclysm consistently.
  2. Activate Lightning Storm to deal damage, buff Movement Speed, and reduce Cataclysm's Cooldown through Aspect of the Orange Herald.
  3. Use Claw for mobility and to stay in Werebear form for additional damage.

Important Notes

  • Prioritize getting all Legendary Nodes before all else. Example: Ancestral Guidance
  • Prioritize all Glyphs to level 25 before going higher unless you cannot equip the next Glyph yet.
  • Prioritize all Glyphs to level 50 before going higher on any.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why am I squishy?

A: Survivability is all about stacking multiple layers of damage mitigation and sustain. You want Maximum Life on every piece of gear because it prevents one shots and your Barrier from Earthen Bulwark scales with Maximum Life. The build has great healing built in, so focus on reducing damage taken by stacking All Elemental Resistances and Armor. The Gems on jewelry are very high value to prevent the worst types of damage. Be sure to make sure you get Damage Reduction items and Aspects as recommended in the guide or alternatives listed below them.
