Build Overview

Companions have been massively buffed in Season 7 & 8 as their tags now all work! This means that with the Storm's Companion (Lightning/Storm/Nature) and Alpha Aspect (Werewolf), we have ample new ways to scale damage! Also, in Season 8, the passive damage of both Ravens and Poison Creeper have gone up significantly!

Since companion damage is now counted as your damage, the companions will reset their own cooldowns from the Packleader Boon, and reset your Petrify from the Calm Before the Storm Boon!

Strengths and Weaknesses

Frequently Asked Questions

Wolves do all the damage. Their single target is amazing, their area damage is not.

The Ceh magic rune summons Spirit Wolves to attack enemies for 8 seconds. These Wolves are companions, which means they grant a significant damage multiplier while contributing to the Shepherd's Aspect companion count. They also do some damage and apply chill for activating crowd control bonuses.

The Storm's Companion lucky hit bonus to Pack Leader multiplies the boon itself, so it is a valuable stat as it effectively multiplies your existing lucky hit for Wolf resets. Stacking lucky hit a bit will allow you to constantly spam the Wolf button, and nearly spam Petrify.

What really sets this build apart from other companion Druids is the attack speed. Attack speed in D4 has to separate categories, and each caps at 100%. Bonuses usually fall into the first category, but Werewolf Attack Speed temper falls in the rare second category. While this affix affects the attack speed of our Wolf companions, and it also affects all werewolf based skills, as well as speeding up the cast time of the Wolves active skill.

Leveling

While leveling, you want to actively use all 3 companion skills to make up for the poor area damage of the wolves.
