Rupture

Rupture Barbarian build guide will teach you all about the gear, skills, paragon, playstyle and seasonal mechanics you'll need to get this insanely fun Barbarian up and running.

Rupture will be your main source of damage with this bleed build.

Regular Build Rotation:

• Cast Wrath of the Berserker when near a group of enemies to pull them in.
• Use Ground Stomp to cast an Earthquake and reset up to 15 seconds off of Wrath of the Berserker cooldown.
• Cast Death Blow to add stacking damage to Sabre of Tsasgal
• Cast Rupture as often as possible.

Rupture Damage

This build will be running on a Two-handed Sword set up. That means Two-Handed Sword will be selected for Rupture in order to take advantage of your Skill Points.

Offense

• Aspect of Earthquakes will give you additional damage for your Dust Devils when you stand inside of an Earthquake and for 4 seconds after you leave that Earthquake.
• Vehement Brawler's Aspect gives you damage whenever you cast your ultimate skill. This also increases the ranks of the Ultimate which reduces it's cooldown as well.
• Aspect of Encroaching Wrath gives your Weapon Mastery skills addition damage after you spend 100 Fury.
• Wanton Rupture Aspect will double the hit size of your Rupture and increase the duration of your Bleeds, which in turn will increase the damage of Rupture.

Rune Combinations

Creating Earthquakes

• Bac + Tec will be your end game choice. As you move, you cast Earthquakes.
• Neo + Tec if you deal damage, but don't take any damage every 2 seconds you will cast an Earthquake.
• Yax + Tec you will need to drink a Healing Potion in order to proc an Earthquake.

Vulnerable

• Exploit Glyph will be your source of Vulnerable Damage early to mid-game.
• Fists of Fate with a Greater Affix (the star) on Lucky Hit: Up to a [X%] Chance To Make Enemies Vulnerable For 3 Seconds

Uniques

Key Build Piece

• The Third Blade is the MOST important piece in this build. It converts Rupture from a Weapon Mastery skill to a Core skill, it now has no cooldown and costs Fury.
• Rage of Harrogath will be used in the mid-game stages to help reset the cooldown of your Ultimate and Iron Skin
• Ugly Bastard Helm in combination with the Harlequin Crest give you enough Cooldown Reduction to keep Wrath of the Berserker off Cooldown.

Mythic Uniques

• The Grandfather has a Unique Aspect that doubles your Critical Strike Damage bonus. More importantly for this build it gives very high Maximum Resources. That will help scale your damage from Ramaladni's Magnum Opus. It's a great source of Max Life and the All Stats play a huge role in activating your Paragon Nodes.
• Ring of Starless Skies adds damage to all of your abilities after you spend primary resources.
• Heir of Perdition this is a great source for Critical Strike Chance, Movement Speed, and damage.
