How to Unlock the Legendary Kaoson SMG

The Kaoson is a Legendary Vladof SMG from the unique enemy known as 'Primordial Guardian Origo' in the Terminus Range Vault Encounter.

It shoots a volley of sticky projectile which detonate after either reloading the weapon, or swapping firing modes. The alternate firing mode, is an atlas tracker which allows the player to tag their desired target, making it easy to land shots accurately.

Unlock Location + Farm Method:

• To get the Kaoson you will need to kill an enemy known as Origo, which can be found in the Terminus Range Vault
• You will not be able to fight this boss until you find all 3 vault parts, which can be found below, as well as the vault location
• The Kaoson is one of three possible drops in the loot pool, and can also be found as a world drop from any enemy/boss in the game

The 'Atlas Infinium' Firmware will allow the player to track their target, and land shots on them from any angle until they swap weapons. The Kaoson can use this method very well if done correctly.

• The Kaoson also works well on builds with high fire rate, due to the vast amount of projectiles it can sink it within a short amount of time.
