How to Unlock the Legendary Hellfire SMG

Hellfire is a Submachine Gun that focuses on dealing Incendiary Damage. Compared to other similar Weapons, Hellfire's Incendiary status is significantly stronger.

If you're playing a status-based build, Hellfire is a great asset for dealing with red health bar enemies.

Unlock Location:

• Progress in the story until you unlock the Cuspid Climb area within Terminus Range.
• Complete the relevant story missions to access Lambent Mine.

Farm Method:

• Defeat Skyspanner Kratch inside the Lambent Mine.
• After completing his associated story mission once, return afterward.
• Respawn him using the Encore Machine at the arena entrance.
• Farm repeatedly until Hellfire drops in addition to Linebacker.

As a purely Incendiary damage gun, the Hellfire works great against enemies with Flesh (red) health bars, doing up to 75% extra damage

Elemental damage modifiers such as Harlowe's Elementary and Periodic Table Flip will increase this guns' damage.

Vex benefits from Incendiary specifically, being able to attune to it and also skill into Burnt Offering which grants more elemental damage than most other modifiers, albeit only for Incendiary.
