Build Overview

Rafa can pump out insane damage with Grenades thanks to strong modifiers like Confeti, Asymetric Warfare, Errant Spark, Venganza, and Lateral Plinking. All that also leeches life thanks to Hostile Acquisition.

Lots of the time the gameplay boils down to: see enemy on the radar, throw grenades in their direction, collect xp and loot.

We use Peacebreaker Cannons for some extra damage and Resiliencia tank factor. These guns can last a long time and will always shoot at the enemy that you are look at.

Level 28 to Endgame

Early game you're going to be mostly focused on using whatever weapon you can get your hands on. Peacebreaker Cannons will help a ton for both clear and defenses thanks to Resiliencia. See the gear section for some weapon recommendations.

Once you start into the Double-Ought Autoshot section and pickup Asymetric Warfare, Errant Spark, and Hostile Acquisition your cannons and grenades are going to start to feel extremely strong.

Deft Hands - buffs you and your cannons

Instinto - helps keep Peacebreaker Cannons up for a long time, press F again for more damage but faster drain on the meter

Juerga - more meter!

Resiliencia - feel tanky while your cannons are going

Asymetric Warfare - more damage for all projectiles that are not fired from your gun, including cannons and grenade projectiles

Hostile Acquisition - cannons and grenades help restore life, repkit still very important for oh crap moments

Errant Spark - more damage for cannons and grenades

Double-Ought Autoshot - tons of clear from this node, your cannons will sometimes hit additional enemies, always when they crit, and this makes dealing with multiple enemies fell a lot better

Lateral Plinking - more ricochet chance for cannons and grenades

Use Weapons that you enjoy, here's what I found was the best for me:

Order Sniper - charge up for one MEGA shot that can one-tap most enemies early game if you headshot

Torgue Shotgun - this shotgun with sticky ammo secondary shot is a single target fiend. You basically shoot bombs into the enemy and once you reload they all explode doing 6% more damage per bomb in the mob.

ARs/SMGs - use whatever feels good, I use these most of the time

Hero Mod

Look out for the Fiesty Grenazerker class mod because it gives you "Whenever Rafa throws a Grenade or Tediore Gun, he throws an additional one."

This mod is effectively double damage for your grenades!

Shield

Early on I recommend using an Armor Shield because it is constantly ticking to give you some extra HP. While it takes longer to refill, the early game I feel like you take a lot of chip damage and the armor shields help a ton with that.

Grenade Mods

You'll want a grenade that homes in on nearby enemies like an Order Grenade but Ripper Grenade also has a teleport option. Non-tracking grenades an still be good, but you have to play a lot smarter instead of just lobbing them in the general direction.
