5 S-tier Supports in Patch 13.20

Supports are really good this patch, as they have been for quite some time. This is good for us Support players as it gives us more options and champions we can pick and perform well on. As always, you see the top Supports dominating the meta, but there are some really good picks this patch too.

In this Mobalytics guide, we will discuss 5 of the best meta Supports you should be picking to climb in the final part of the season. If you’re looking for additional tips to play any of these champions, make sure you head over to their Mobalytics’ Champion Page.

Best Supports For Season 13 Patch 13.20

  1. Blitzcrank
  2. Thresh
  3. Senna
  4. Janna
  5. Rakan

You can find more S-tier picks on the Mobalytics Tier List for Patch 13.20. Please note that the data we are using is mid-patch data, worldwide and “is all Rank” data.

Blitzcrank

Blitzcrank is the first of 2 hook champion who are dominating solo queue right now. Blitzcrank is an S-tier pick for his insane pick potential and ability to carry the lane just by pressing Q.

If you’re able to constantly land hooks, you’ll gain kill after kill for you and your team. If you can land your Q on a key target, especially during the mid or late game, you might be able to snowball your lead and take a major objective afterwards.

Blitzcrank had a 51.7% win rate in 1,353,000 games in Patch 13.19.

Thresh

Thresh is the second hook champion we would recommend playing if you want to climb in League of Legends. His versatility and popularity make him a great champion to pick up and learn.

What makes Thresh a great champion is how he can make plays throughout the game. One good hook can result in your ADC getting a kill, or one good hook during the mid game can enable your team to score an ace or get a major objective.

During Patch 13.19, Thresh had a win rate of 50.6% win rate in 1,894,000 games.

Senna

The third champion on our list is Senna. If hook champions are not your thing, then I would recommend giving Senna a go!

The pretty much-unlimited scaling on Senna makes her a great pick in League. Furthermore, as you will be buying AD items, you will dish out a lot of damage, which is ideal as you can play aggressively and get kills. You will have the opportunity to carry if you play Senna.

Senna had a 51% win rate in 1,420,000 games.

Janna

Janna is probably the easiest and most consistent Support on our list this patch. The utility she can provide to her team make her a great pick in pretty much any team composition.

While Janna is the only real “passive” champion on our list, she has so many tools to keep herself and her allies alive by providing them with heals and shields. She also has a lot of tools to counter some of the other S-tier picks on our list.

Janna’s win rate in Patch 13.19 was 51.5% in 420,500 games.

Rakan

Rakan is the final champion on our list. Rakan is a great champion for anyone who loves to play engage champions.

Rakan has a lot of play-making potential, which is ideal if you want to climb. It can be hard to climb when you’re not being aggressive, but playing Rakan, whose play style is aggressive, will result in you having higher kill participation and a higher likelyhood of winning.

And finally, Rakan’s win rate in Patch 13.19 was 51.3% in 1,133,000 games.
