This article is now outdated. Here’s the updated list of best Junglers to climb with in Patch 14.2.
As we take to a brand new year, 2024 looks to be extremely promising inside and outside of this game we call League of Legends. Unfortunately, The Jungle role received many changes this Season due to the Rift Herald changes. These changes have impacted how strong some champions are this Season.
In this Mobalytics article, we will discuss 5 of the best picks for the Jungle role in League of Legends. If you wish to master these champions or any others within the League of Legends roster, be sure to visit Mobalytics’ Champion Page..

Nocturne
The first champion on our list is Nocturne. Nocturne is a fantastic Jungler in League of Legends. In season 14, you need to skirmish a lot with the enemy, and Nocturne is a fantastic skirmisher and can win fights without the need for help.
Our advice to become a better Nocturne player is to play around your Ultimate. You should look to get picks as soon as your Ultimate is up. Don’t be afraid to repeatedly gank the same lane over and over again to get kills.
Fiddlesticks
Fiddlesticks isn’t the most popular champion around, but he has been one of the strongest Junglers in League for some time. Fiddle is a great champion throughout all game stages, thanks to his high skirmishing power and ability to positively impact all lanes.
Fiddlesticks’ playstyle really revolves around his Ultimate. It is important that you play around this ability and look to force ganks and make plays whenever your Ultimate is up. A good Fiddlesticks will look for plays whenever their Ultimates are up.
Ivern
Ivern is another recommended pick this patch if you want to climb in League of Legends. Ivern is a great skirmishing champion and is good at protecting his team too. Picking Ivern allows your Support to pick a carry champion like Zyra, Brand or Senna instead of a traditional utility Support.
In team fights, you need to keep your allies alive for as long as possible while providing them with healing and shielding. Don’t be afraid to look for picks with your Ultimate and your Q. The key thing on playing Ivern is to be proactive and gank/counter gank as often as possible.
Brand
Brand has been a very good pick in the pre-season and at the tail end of season 13, in all honestly. Brands’ successes come from various factors, one being that he is an AP champion. In lower ELO, teams love to pick full AD teams, so picking an AP Jungler is quite beneficial.
He is a good ganker and has CC. His Q can be made easier to land if his allies have CC too! He can start ganking after taking the scuttle crab. He has a lot of AOE damage which makes him really good in team fights and also good at taking objectives like the Dragon or Rift Herald.
Rammus
The final champion on our list is Rammus. Rammus is a very basic Jungler who is extremely strong in League of Legends. He is the perfect pick for anyone who wants to learn or climb in the Jungle role.
Rammus tends to max his taunt first, as it increases the taunt duration. With this, he just needs to press it on a target and then they’ll be locked down for a long time. Due to how annoying his taunt is to deal with, it is important that you look to gank very frequently.
To Conclude
Junglers received a lot of map changes this pre-season, which means if you want to succeed in this season, you need to adjust your playstyle and adapt to the new terrain. We hope this article has provided enough information to help you get started this season.
