Learn to Play a Champion

There are currently 11 champions in the 2XKO character roster. The latest champions to be added were Teemo and Warwick with a simultaneous release during the Early Access Launch. New characters will be added to 2XKO at least five times a year, corresponding with five seasons.

Caitlyn, the sheriff of Piltover, has already been officially announced as the 12th champion and will be available in January.

Character Playstyles Explained

Each 2XKO champion has a playstyle label as part of their in-game description that indicates their general strengths. While many champions are multi-faceted and might be bordering multiple categories, here's what you should know.

All-Rounder

  • Darius
  • Yasuo

All-rounders are versatile generalists who have a balanced kit without any glaring weaknesses, typically excelling at mid-range combat.

Bruiser

  • Braum
  • Illaoi

Bruisers are big-bodied characters with higher health pools and powerful hits in exchange for being slower and less mobile.

Grappler

  • Blitzcrank

Grapplers get up close and personal to land command grabs that can take significant portions of enemy health bars, often only needing to win a few interactions.

Mix Up

  • Ekko

Mix Up characters use trickery to keep opponents guessing, setting up situations that are difficult to defend against.

Rushdown

  • Ahri
  • Vi
  • Warwick

Rushdown characters excel in moving around the stage with burst options, creating pressure and finding angles to open up enemy defenses.

Trap

  • Teemo

Trap characters litter the battlefield with obstacles and setups that can really punish opponents who are impatient or unaware.

Zoner

  • Jinx

Zoners are masters of long-ranged combat and prefer to stay at a safe distance until they find the right opening for a combo opportunity.
