The video showcase covers an M0P0 Alice, M2P0 Jane and M2P0 Yuzuha level of investment, however the team build, run specific notes and general team gameplan approach are the same regardless of limited Mindscapes.

A kill should be well within reach with M1P0 Yuzuha. Shifting around investment (e.g. M0P0 Yuzuha but M0P1 Alice) may work too.

Season Buff

Artful

  • Agent DMG increases by 20% and Physical DMG increases by an additional 20%.
  • After inflicting an Attribute Anomaly on an enemy, the enemy's DEF decreases by 10% for 10s. After inflicting Disorder on an enemy, the enemy's DEF further decreases by 25% for 10s. Each effect's duration refreshes individually.

Drive Discs

Fanged Metal 4-piece is a no brainer, but 2-piece is flex. You could run 2-piece Puffer Electro if using a PEN% D5 and 2-piece Freedom Blues or Chaos Jazz works fine too.

Alice does get AP from AM as a result of Core Passive: Twin Rainbows of the Swordheart, so Phaethon's Melody is the all-around best bet, but if you don't need the extra build-up, other sets do fine.

Stats

AP on D4 is a given, and since Alice gets AP from AM, we're running it on D6 - D5 though is quite flex.

For the rotation for this upload, the 35% DEF Shred from the Artful buff meant PEN% was doing less damage than ATK.

Since Alice is not using @Practiced Perfection, she isn't as saturated on both Attack or Damage %. Artful, Proto Punk, Fanged Metal and Yuzuha Core Passive: Whimsical Wonder saturates Damage %, but Yuzuha also provides plenty of flat Combat Attack, lowering its value as a Drive Disc stat.

So either works - whatever has better substats is likely to win out.

Drive Discs

Since Jane is contributing a pretty significant amount of Anomaly build-up, you do want her to be as well geared as possible, but with so much build-up coming from Alice @Starshine Waltz and enhanced @Celestial Overture, she should get the better discs on her over Jane.

Set wise it's 4-piece Fanged Metal and 2-piece Phaethon's Melody. Fanged Metal is obvious but 2-piece follows a similar line as Alice gearing: Puffer Electro, Freedom Blues and Chaos Jazz are all fine options.

Given the amount of Physical build-up on the comp, Phaethon's Melody isn't really needed, but can help avoid situations where @Starshine Waltz lands just before Assault triggers, locking out further Assaults due to Disorder ICD, so it's a safe bet.

Stats

Jane is running AP D4, Physical Damage % D5 and Attack % D6; AM would be overkill on D6 for this comp. Given that Jane is using Weeping Gemini and gets a bunch of attack from Passion State as well as D6, Physical Damage % is a safe bet.

Drive Discs

4-piece is Proto Punk, although Swing Jazz can be used too. Miasmic Fiend can range from passive to incredibly aggressive. So the effectiveness of the set can range a bit on the RNG from enemy behaviour, but all-in-all both sets are about the same in average performance, with Swing Jazz being more consistent but Proto Punk allowing for higher scores if managed well. Try to spread out parries and make use of Ultimates' Assist Point generation to maintain uptime.

Stats

Standard line-up of AP, Attack and AM - no other option for Yuzuha. In an Assault comp, where her attacks will be diluting Physical Anomaly build-up, the more AP the better. You will want to hit the 3,000 Attack limit for Core Passive: Whimsical Wonder before focusing on AP though.

Run Specific Notes

This run is freestyle, which means it is not following any specific set rotation.

Just because it's unstructured doesn't mean that it's just pressing buttons, as there are broadly a few things you want to look out for.

Miasmic Fiend will go invulnerable and begin her phase transition at around 01:50 to 01:45 on the clock. Luck is a big factor, as she may begin an attack shortly before the transition is due to happen which will animation lock her out. If that happens, don't interrupt her with zzz ultimate Ultimates or Corruption until she's done. then keep her locked down after to extend the duration.

As her Anomaly DMG stacks reset when Miasmic Shield comes up and you're given plenty of resources after it breaks, you want to blow all of your Energy and Decibels for as much burst as you can before she goes to maximise use of her buff and empty out your resources to avoid overcapping after.

Keep in mind that Basic Attack: Starshine Waltz has a rather low interrupt level, so Miasmic Fiend can - and will - jump out of it mid attack during the phase transition (and even with regular attacks)! Yuzuha Ultimate: Surrender or Suffer the Mischief is particularly good here to stop the boss from moving until the Polarity Assault lands.

During the phase transition mechanic, Yuzuha can use Basic Attack: Tanuki Cloak to parry both the spears and the explosion AoE. After which, you can dodge left and right to farm Decibels with the Perfect Dodge bonus.

If you need Passion State gauge on Jane, you could zzz dodge Dodge on her instead for extra build-up.

Artful Uptime

As this is a mono-Physical comp, there will be situations where Artful drops. If a Disorder isn't being inflicted every 10 seconds, the 25% DEF Shred bonus will fall-off, making it very important to keep an eye on how long its taking you between Disorders.

Given that Basic Attack: Starshine Waltz is the only way to trigger a Disorder with M0 Alice, try to not waste too much Blade Etiquette and juggle it with Assaults around the 10 second requirement for Artful.

How to Play & Additional Tips

General Gameplan

Whoever gets Flavor Matched really doesn't matter - everyone in the team is Physical so there's not much to work around in that regard.

The comp is rather straightforward: build enough Blade Etiquette on Alice, use Basic Attack: Starshine Waltz, swap out of her to Jane and use zzz basic attack Basic Attacks to trigger Assault before the Polarity Assault lands. Just maximise the Assault count as much as possible and do your best to avoid Disorder ICD as a result of Polarity Assaults landing late on the bar.

If you use Basic Attack: Starshine Waltz at any point after 10% of Anomaly Gauge fill and then immediately swap to Jane and Ultimate: Final Curtain, it should do enough build-up to get a regular Assault trigger just before the Polarity Assault lands.

Since Polarity Assault bypasses Disorder ICD and Alices Core Passive: Twin Rainbows of the Swordheart provides higher Disorder scaling for Assault the earlier it triggers, this can lead to some heavy burst.

Do note that Basic Attack: Celestial Overture only gets its 5th hit enhanced when Alice is the one that triggers an Anomaly. Usually Jane is the one that will be triggering it while Alice does Basic Attack: Starshine Waltz, but whenever there is an opportunity, do look to have Alice trigger Assault.

This can be through Yuzuha's EX Special Attack: Cavity Alert leading to a zzz assist Quick Assist and zzz basic attack Basic 5, or perhaps through parry opportunities whenever This means that you want her to be the one to land Assaults where possible to maximise gauge build (which is very important to maintain constant Disorders).

Drive Disc Maintenance

Proto Punk is rather RNG, as it will depend on how often the enemy attacks. There's not much to this other than trying to capitalise on parry opportunities when they present themselves. Do try to space out zzz assist Defensive Assists to keep the buff up for as long as possible, as all characters in this team use up 2 Assist Points per parry, which means you get 3 before it's over.

zzz ultimate Ultimates can help restore some of them mid-fight, so capitalise on this to extend the buff for as long as possible. With Yuzuha's M2 Full of Colorful Company, the readily available zzz chain attack Chain Attacks can provide points and make upkeep a lot easier.

When parrying, it's better to feed Decibels to Alice over Jane, but with Alice almost always being on-field (either as the active character or during Basic Attack: Starshine Waltz), it's not often there'll be many windows where she can be parried to.

On most comps you'd look to use Yuzuha's timed Assist Follow-Up: Stuffed Hard Candy Shot, but in this team it just takes too long. The time is better spent attacking on Alice to build Blade Etiquette, so if you do parry on Yuzuha, go for the fast Assist Follow-Up: We Have Cookies option instead.
