Anby Best Builds, Guide, & Review

Anby is free character you get upon starting the game. She is a simple Stun Agent, meaning she specializes in applying Daze to Stun enemies.

Unfortunately, Anby is quite weak by modern standards, which is to be expected as a free starter character.

Her kit is very simple and straightforward, thus her build is quite generic as a result. The one thing to keep in mind is her Basic Attack: Thunderbolt, which can be performed by pausing briefly after Basic Attack 3 or holding down Basic Attack after BA3.

EX Special Attack: Lightning Bolt will also be faster if used after BA3 or Thunderbolt.

Overall, Anby shouldn't take up too much field time as other characters will simply deal more damage even outside of stun. This means you should use her Defensive Assist: Flash and EX Special Attack: Lightning Bolt when you have the chance, but don't stick to her on field for too long.

• Hellfire Gears - This Engine is the best for using Anby off-field/sparsely with Defensive Assists and EX Special.
• Steam Oven [5] - Similar to Hellfire Gears, provides Energy and Impact, which is great for more EX Specials and Daze.
• The Restrained - Good if you have. Better if you spend more time on field with Anby. (which is generally not advised)
• Precious Fossilized Core [5] - Another solid F2P option, especially in Deadly Assault where enemy Health Bars refresh.
• Demara Battery Mark II - Best for Anby's personal damage, but does not synergize with her role as a Stun Agent as much compared to the other Engines.

• King of the Summit is a strong set for any Stun Agent that increases Daze and buffs the team's Crit DMG.
• Astral Voice is also an option if your team doesn't need Crit DMG.
• Proto Punk is another solid buffing set if King of the Summit/Astral Voice don't apply to your team. (Don't need Crit DMG and not many Quick Assists)
• Shockstar Disco 4 is generally not recommended. This is because Anby shouldn't take up too much field time and use her EX Special & Defensive Assist for the majority of Daze buildup, neither of which are buffed by Shockstar 4.

For 2-Pc, we want Shockstar Disco for Impact or King of the Summit for Daze if not using King of the Summit 4. Swing Jazz can also work if you have good pieces.

For Drive Discs stats, you mainly want Crit Rate 4 to hit 50% for King of the Summit. If using another set, Partition 4 is no longer a priority. Impact 6 is important for more Daze buildup. Partition 5 is for personal damage and not a major priority.

The same logic applies to substats. Crit Rate to hit 50% for KotS, personal damage stats afterward.
