Skyborne: New WoW Forever Race Reveal

World of Warcraft Forever introduces Skyborne as a new playable race.

During character creation, Skyborne can choose to be part of either the Alliance or the Horde. Certain class choices and racials will differ depending on which faction was chosen.

The playable classes for Skyborne are Warrior, Hunter, Rogue, Druid and either Mage or Shaman depending on the faction chosen during character creation. Alliance Skyborne can be Mages, while Horde Skyborne can be Shamans instead.

The Skyborne’s racials are the following;

• Walk on Air - Allows you to glide downward through the air for 10 seconds.
• Wind Blessed (Passive)  - Increases melee, ranged and spellcasting haste by 1%
• Elemental Insight (Passive) - Increases damage dealt to elementals by 5%

Skyborne’s 4th racial is dependant on which faction you chose while in character creation

Alliance Skyborn have access to Read Ley Line which activates a ley line to gain 100% Health and Mana regeneration.

Horde Skyborn instead have Skysight which grants an elemental blessing that increases run speed by 10%

Skyborne have access to a wide variety of hairstyles and hair colors and their skin tone isn’t limited to shades of blue. Like Blood Elves in Retail WoW, Skyborne’s eye color can also be customized with yellow, purple and a more icy blue being revealed so far.

What mounts can they use?

It is currently unknown as to what their racial mount is. 

Do they have a starting zone?

Skyborne has a brand new starting zone: Zephras Isle as well as a unique starting experience that covers level 1-12 of your journey in WoW: Forever. 

Do they have a SD model that you can toggle on/off?

Yes, Skyborne models have both a HD and SD model that can be toggled.

Do they have to be blue?

No, their skin tone is customizable.

How can I play as a Skyborne?

You can play as a Skyborne by purchasing the Skyborne Heroic Pack ($29.99/€29.99/£25.99) but they are also included in the Skyborne Epic Pack ($59.99/€59.99/£51.99) and the Warcraft Forever Collection ($79.99/€79.99/£69.99)

Can i play Skyborne without buying it?
No, you will need to purchase at least the cheapest Skyborne Heroic Pack to gain access to this race.

Can I play WoW Forever without buying Skyborne?
Yes, you can play WoW Forever just by having an active World of Warcraft Subscription, you just won’t be able to play the Skyborne race.
