Rage Fire Chasm - Bosses, Loot & Quests

Rage Fire Chasm is the first dungeon most players run on Horde and with WoW: Forever the loot has been turned up to an insane level. Between boss drops and quests some great early game items can be found in this dungeon.

The Rage Fire Chasm is located in the direct center of Ogrimmar inside the Cleft of Shadow.

Testing an Enemy's Strength

Returning the Lost Satchel

Oggleflint is a very simple boss that can be found on along the right path in the first hallway.

Boss Mechanics

Oggleflint's only mechanic is Cleave which causes his attacks to strike an additional enemy. You can pretty much just ignore though and TANK and SPANK him down.

Taragaman the Hungerer is located in the central chamber of the Rage Fire Chasm on the middle platform.

Boss Mechanics

He has a small KNOCK BACK so the tank should avoid being too close to any edge. He also has aFire Nova attack that deals damage around him, so ranged dps and healers should STAY OUT OF MELEE.

Jergosh the Invoker is located in the middle of the last room of the Rage Fire Chasm dungeon.

Boss Mechanics

Jergosh is flanked by two adds that will always pull when Jergosh is aggroed. Mages can Polymorph one of these adds to make the fight a bit easier. Jergosh himself will cast Curse of Weakness and Immolate.

Bazzalan is also located in the last room of the dungeon, but this time up the ramp on the right side.

Boss Mechanics

Bazzalan also has 2 adds next to him, and one can be Polymorph to reduce the difficulty of the fight. He uses Sinister Strike and Deadly Poison against the tank, and should be focused down first to reduce damage output.
