Intro

Do you want to get a 3-star 5-cost every game?

Look no further! This guide is for you!

This guide will show you exactly how to do it, including a few very useful Wisp hidden rules that most players don't know about.

Guide

The Three Things You Need to Know

Before getting into the actual game plan, there are three Wisp mechanics that make this strategy work.

5 Blossom makes Wisps appear every shop instead of every other shop. This is the most important breakpoint because it gives you twice as many opportunities to find the Wisps you need.

Blood Ritual is a Stage 4-only Wisp. It costs 9 HP and 6 gold and gives you a Champion Duplicator. After the Blossom upgrade, it costs only 6 HP.

And finally:

You will only be offered a Wisp that you can afford.

This is especially important for Major Polymorph, which permanently turns a 4-cost you own into a 5-cost. By controlling your gold and your board, you can abuse this rule to make the final part of the combo much more reliable.

Save HP Early

Save as much HP as you can early.

The reason is Blood Ritual.

Blood Ritual only appears during Stage 4, which is exactly when you're going to be rolling hard for your 4-costs. You can spend that saved HP on Blood Ritual to get Champion Duplicators and push your units toward 3-star.

After Blossom upgrades Blood Ritual, it costs only 6 HP, so having a healthy HP total coming into Stage 4 gives you a lot more room to work with.

Don't greed your early game so hard that you enter Stage 4 on 20 HP. You need enough HP to survive a few losses and still have room to use Blood Ritual.

Build a Flexible 5 Blossom Board

The nice thing about this board is that it gives you five different 4-costs.

Ahri - Sett - Zyra - Amumu - Nidalee

You could easily switch some of them and tag in other 4 costs.

Such as in this second example, we get

Ahri - Sett - Zyra - Soraka - Malphite

And you can always tag in Sivir and Ashe for 2 Hunter.

The key is simple: 5 Blossom can be built with a lot of 4-costs.

That's important because other players will often hold the 4-costs you're looking for. If someone is holding your Ahri, for example, you can simply switch to another 4-cost instead.

With Ahri, Sett, Zyra, Amumu, and Nidalee, you have five different options. Keep all five open until you see which one you're getting the most copies of and which one isn't being contested.

The hard part: The Roll Down

Once you hit Stage 4 and have 5 Blossom, this is where the real actions begin.

Don't just roll for your 4-costs. Roll until you hit the important Wisps, too.

Blood Ritual gives you a Champion Duplicator, which can save a huge amount of gold when you're trying to finish a 3-star 4-cost.

Then there's Barter. After the Blossom upgrade, it lets you sell a champion for 300% of its value. A 2-star 4-cost sold will earn you 24 gold, which you can immediately put back into your roll down.

So keep rolling, take "Blood Ritual" and "Barter" when they appear, and use them to get as many copies of your chosen 4-cost as possible. In my experience, when this is done correctly, I often get not only one, but two different 3-stars 4-costs champions such as Ahri + Sett, Soraka + Malphite.

Final Step: Find Major Polymorph

Once you finally hit your 3-star 4-cost, it's time for the final step.

Now you're looking for Major Polymorph, to turn them into the golden all-mighty invincible 3-star 5-costs. But how do we find this Wisp?

This is where the hidden affordability rule becomes really powerful:

You will only be offered Wisps that you can afford.

So before you start hunting for Major Polymorph, please spend your gold.

Simply buy champions until your gold reach almost 0, since Major Polymorph only cost 0 gold.

Once you find Major Polymorph, remember don't click on it yet!

Remember to sell the other 4-costs.

You want your 3-star 4-cost to be the only 4-cost you have left.

Then, your 3-star 4-cost permanently becomes a 5-cost.

And because it was already 3-star...

You now have a 3-star 5-cost. You won the game! <3

But please remember to not put them on the board alone. Since enemy Gnar can throw them away if the champion is alone on your board. Give them some friends as well. They maybe all-mighty 3-stars 5-costs, but they still need friends.
