Path of Building Code

Build Overview

Righteous Fire Chieftain is a simple yet powerful character which focuses primarily on Map Clear. This build scales Hinekora, Death's Fury With Monster Density which makes it scale very easily into the End Game. Our single target of Choice is Fire Trap

The build also works for a number of league mechanics such as. Harvest, Delirium, Blight, Strongboxes, Heist, Ritual, Expedition & More

You can handle the first 2 Voidstone (Searing Exarch & Eater of Worlds) with simple Rare gear with Life/Resistance. Be warned it will take a bit but you should be very tanky.

Later on we'll incorporate some items such as Cloak of Flame To scale our Ignite from Hinekora, Death's Fury alongside providing some much needed Physical Damage Reduction.

We'll also aim to use an Elder Helmet for a psudo 6 Link for our Fire Trap

You are also able to get your later 2 Voidstones Bosses although Maven is a big hurdle for players with the build. Have no fear I have killed them all even in SSF & provide tips for killing them on my Youtube

Strengths and Weaknesses

  • Fast Map Clear on a budget gets faster with Ignite Proliferation
  • Very Tanky, 90%+ Res + Block Cap with Recovery & Glancing Blows.
  • 5+ Endurance Charges for Phys/Elemental Mitigation + Big Life Regen
  • Limited on Button Presses, Ignores all Cold & Lightning Resistance via Stacking Fire Resistance
  • Low Single Target (Average player stops at 2-4M DPS)
  • Slow Act 1 + Mule due to getting RF in act II
  • Limited Scaling, other builds scale better. However, RF Can do all content if you gear it
  • Takes time to scale into T17. 30+ Divine or go Hateful Accuser

During this stage of the build you want to make sure you're using the Regex posted in the PoB

This will help you find Early Intelligence Items such as Lapis Amulet which are going to be needed to setup Rolling Magma for our Marauder.

Goat's Horn are huge for damage in Act 1. You want to make sure you purchase them from the Vendor in the act 1 Town. Even White Goat's Horn can often provide you with 50% More damage due to the Flat Fire to Spells Implicit.

Masteries
Fire Mastery (1)
Regenerate 1 Life per second for each 1% Uncapped Fire Resistance

This mastery shown above is Mandatory for running our Righteous Fire You want to make sure you're saving up Transmutation Orbs because you're going to need them in Act II to craft Fire Resistance on your gear.

I recommend around 120 Fire Resistance before Starting RF although you can get by with less.

Some good ways to achieve this would be by crafting "Fire Resistance" on your gear which has an open suffix.

You can also vendor 2 Iron Ring with 2 Red gems (any gems work) to create 2 Ruby Ring. This will get you started with some easy fire resistance. Don't forget to craft on them!

Your Primary Focus on links will be supporting your Rolling Magma with Elemental Proliferation Support and Combustion Support everything else is secondary.

Make sure you shoot it into the Flame Wall for much needed damage.

The Holy Flame Totem is optional for players who don't enjoy Rolling Magma

Herald of Thunder is a nice Self Buff in Act II. It helps provide Shock which amplifies all damage taken.

How it Plays

Simply turn on your Righteous Fire and start Shield Charge through enemies. When you come across a blue pack hit your Punishment & throw a Fire Trap if needed. Reposition with Frostblink so you don't take too much damage. (Don't worry later on we can just face tank things once geared)

How it Works

Use Shield Charge through enemies and kill them with your Righteous Fire you will occasionally trigger Hinekora, Death's Fury the damage from this is so extreme it can even 1 tap map bosses. Later on we elevate the explode by adding Ignite Spread from Exarch Embers on your Gloves.

On tanky targets or packs we also use Punishment to increase damage and throw Fire Trap for single target.

Sometimes all you have to do is stand still for half a split second for your Ramako, Sun's Light to help your Righteous Fire clear packs.
