[3.29] Lazy's Cold Dot Wintertide Brand Elementalist

Build Summary

The Cold Dot Elementalist is one of the smoothest proven league starter that relies on Golems as stat sticks to snowball the early game. Cold Dot have good early game scaling, mapping is very comfy at league start and can easily takes you to 4 Voidstones on a Budget Setup.

If you like to level one character per league, the Witch is a good choice as it can easily transition into higher budget Elementalist or Occultist/Necromancer.

The build is a comfy 1-button mapper, 2-buttons for boss, and is not too spammy overall.

Ascendancy

I choose Elementalist over Occultist because I'm playing trade league, and Elementalist can do more damage in trade league in general and is also easier too play with great recovery, and damage build-in so it's hard to go wrong.

Rotation

Bossing

1. Cast your curses (Frostbite, Elemental Weakness) or Arcanist Brand
2. Cast Frost Bomb for exposure
3. Cast Cold Snap on CD
4. Cast Wintertide Brand x3
5. Keep rotating between 3 & 4, reapply 1 & 2 if needed

Mapping

1. Cast Cold Snap on CD (or just enough to keep 3x Frenzy Charge up)
2. Cast Wintertide Brand
3. Shield Charge & Frostblink around maps or Flame Dash

Map Modifiers

Elemental Reflect

• Don't use Cold Snap on Elemental Reflect map
• Wintertide Brand doesn't hit, so we can still run Elemental Reflect map
