Martial Artist (new Monk Ascendancy) using Facebreaker

MACES x STAVES but with your FISTS

LIVE UPDATE SECTION

SINGLE TARGET IS MUCH BETTER

but it's gonna cost you a pretty penny lmao

  1. use CORRUPTED Facebreaker with "+4-5 Phys Dmg per Boss' Face Broken" and WITHOUT Way of the Stonefist
  2. buy rings with as HIGH FLAT DAMAGE AS POSSIBLE
    Phys is top priority, followed by Fire / Lightning, with Cold as the lowest
  3. snag a Prism of Belief for Rolling Slam
    pref at least +2 lvls

CLEAR SPEED HAS BEEN FIXED

use Repulsion (new Kalguuran Gem) inside of Blasphemy - it will automatically mark enemies and, when you hit them, deal damage in an area with good stun buildup. then, you also put Concussive Runes in the same links so, when Repulsion stuns, it also triggers Concussive Runes

also, the new Vestige of Darkness (big shadow wendigo hits stuff for you) ALSO procs Repulsion, in addition to your own Attacks (Wind Blast / Whirling Assault)

finally, Staggering Palm (bunch of proj supports goin crazy) exists only to proc Repulsion and thus Concussive Runes

the only requirements to use this setup is:

  1. Repulsion in Blasphemy (Ritualistic Curse, Magnified Area II, Concussive Runes)
  2. Remnants of Kalguur (Harmonic Remnants II, Remnant Potency III)
  3. PUT WARD ON ALL OF YOUR GEAR (via Verisium Anvil)

again, the Vestige of Darkness helmet also helps but is NOT necessary

SKILL ROTATION

CLEARING

  1. use Staggering Palm to get its buff
  2. spam Wind Blast

remember to refresh Staggering Palm when its buff expires

Whirling Assault can technically be used in place of Wind Blast but I don't think it's optimal

also, if you are still using Hollow Palm Technique, you can use a Talisman in Weapon Set 2 to use both Rend and Pounce, however, you MUST MANUALLY CLICK "Wyvern Form" ON IT!
use Rend to occasionally to consume a Power Charge and gain 50% Extra Dmg as Lightning
use Pounce for movement

SINGLE TARGET

  1. Fragments Of The Past
  2. Hand of Chayula (applies Freezing Mark)
  3. Forge Hammer ON TOP OF ENEMY (and do NOT recall!)
  4. Infernal Cry (pops Forge Hammer to create Fissures)
  5. hold Hollow Form Technique (clones usingRolling Slam)

continue holding Hollow Form Technique and pop Forge Hammer / Fragments Of The Pastagain, if necessary. you can also use Staggering Palm when the enemy is "Primed" (yellow circle indicator) to instantly stun them

VERY IMPORTANT INFO

if you are downloading the .build files - you HAVE TO DOWNLOAD EACH "Variant" INDIVIDUALLY by selecting "Act 1"& downloading > selecting "Act 2" & downloading, etc.
idk why - it's dumb - but it is what it is

to level up Rolling Slam, you must TAKE IT OUT OF Hollow Form and equip it by itself, temporarily

If you are using Facebreaker, you MUST kill ALL UNIQUE ENEMIES IN THE CAMPAIGN
each one grants you flat phys dmg w Mace Skills - essential for Rolling Slam

if you have Hollow Palm Technique allocated, you MUST level up your main-damaging Skills (Wind Blast, Tempest Bell, Tempest Flurry)
your flat dmg via Hollow Palm Technique depends on each given Skill's level

At the end of the Campaign, your Facebreaker should have 188-252 phys dmg
"upgraded" Facebreaker (via Way of the Stonefist) should have 189-314 fire

  3. Quarterstaff Strike spam, ensuring you hit BOTH the enemy AND the Tempest Bell

obviously, take Tempest Flurry

also, swapped entirely off of Hollow Palm Technique for a GOOD PHYS DMG RARE STAFF (pref with also +skills and %stun buildup) - passive tree is now USING SET POINTS (put staff in Set 2)

DAY 5, 6/2 - BIG UPDATE! added a new Build Variant, "Late Endgame", using a pair of CORRUPTED Facebreaker with "+4-5 Phys Dmg per Boss' Face Broken" and unspec'd out of Way of the Stonefist. basically 2x more single target dmg (but still not enough lol...)
