Note: The clear is pretty awful at the start, You can go for a Parry Into Fangs of Frost for a big explosion, this helps your Herald of Ice proc to assist with clear.

Later on you unlock Combat Frenzy which is a huge game changer for Passive Frenzy Charge Generation. For players who want to generate early frenzy charges. You can also use Cull The Weak or Parry into Disengage on bosses

Frenzy charges allow your Glacial Lance to create a secondary explosion from both sides of it which do more damage than the initial throw. This is where most of your clear comes from

Frenzy Charges Allow your Storm Lance to auto detonate which is huge, with Scattershot you can also throw 3 Empowered Storm Lance for the price of 1 Frenzy Charge.
