Build Overview

This planner is based on Aste's build, a Korean content creator. I did my best to translate.

This is a mana stacking Archmage Shaman abusing Culling Threshold + Lightning Warp to permanently teleport through maps while triggering massive Cast on Crit Comet chains.

The build stacks enormous mana pools, converts incoming damage into mana, and abuses culling interactions to instantly execute enemies and maintain near permanent traversal.

This version is heavily optimized and scales absurdly well with investment

Do NOT copy mirror-tier setups blindly.

Core mechanics function long before:

Start with:
186 threshold
100% mana protection
basic CoC setup

Then scale upward.

How it Plays

For mapping, your entire gameplay loop revolves around Lightning Warp Because we stack enough culling threshold, normal monsters instantly enter execute range, allowing Lightning Warp to continuously chain from pack to pack. In practice, this means you're barely walking at all — you're effectively teleporting through the map.

For regular packs, you simply hold movement and let Lightning Warp do most of the work.

Whenever you run into tankier enemies, rares, or monsters that survive the initial execute threshold, drop an Orb of Storms and continue warping. Orb of Storms quickly chips enemies into culling range while simultaneously triggering your Cast on Crit setup, causing repeated Comet impacts to clear whatever survives.

Bossing is slightly different.

Place Orb of Storms, cast Frost Wall, then repeatedly trigger Lightning Warp inside the setup. This creates rapid CoC activations and rains down Comets while Orb of Storms softens targets into execute range.

One important thing to understand is that this is not a spam build.

If your mana starts dipping, stop for a second. With enough mana regeneration and efficiency, your mana pool recovers almost instantly. Playing in short bursts gives significantly smoother gameplay than permanently holding skills.

Once optimized, the build ends up feeling absurdly fluid — permanently blinking through maps while dropping constant Comet chains and abusing an enormous mana pool to stay nearly impossible to kill.

How it Works

Core Mechanics


1. Mana Stacking

The build stacks as much mana as possible and finds way in solving for mana cost.

Main sources to solve mana regen and stack mana:

  • Flat Mana
  • Mana Efficiency
  • Mana Regeneration
  • Rune scaling

Runeseeker's Call is extremely powerful here since rune effects are doubled while allowing massive mana scaling


2. Mind Over Matter

Normally:
Archmage + Mind Over Matter destroys sustain.

Instead we stack:

Damage taken from Mana before Life → 100%+

Result:

  • Keep MoM defensive layer
  • Remove most mana sustain issues
  • Become absurdly durable with 10k+ mana

We get this from our jewels, passive tree, body armour and runes.


3. Culling Threshold Teleport

Lightning Warp supports culling interactions.

By stacking enough culling threshold:

  • Normal enemies instantly die
  • Lightning Warp never stops
  • Mapping becomes permanent teleporting

→ allows executing magic monsters
