Build Overview

This is a leveling and endgame bear druid build taking advantage of rage stacking mechanics and bear attacks such as Furious Slam and eventually Rampage + Walking Calamity to do absolutely insane damage

The core of the build is just generating rage either with Maul or Fury of the Mountain to then dish out massive damage with our Furious Slam, which consumes rage. it's very straight forward to play, however you can add in conditional buffs to make it even stronger. Later into the campaign/endgame Rampage eventually completely replaces Furious Slam but I haven't gotten that far yet, so I'll update this whenever I feel like it's more worth it to use.

Pounce is used for movement + an extra damage buff

Ferocious Roar is used with Infernal Cry to periodically buff our Furious Slam however this is optional if you don't like pressing lots of different keybinds

Savage Fury buffs your damage significantly at the cost of some hp/s but it's pretty annoying to use, make sure to be in bear form before you use it. If you don't want to deal with another button to press, consider using Herald of Ash instead

Quest Rewards:
Venom: Mana Regen or Stun Threshold
Tattos: Resistances
Pillar: Resistances or Movement Speed

Strengths and Weaknesses

  • Big dam
  • Works for the entire campaign
  • Scales hard
  • Can feel clunky

Build Variants

I'm currently using Couture of Crimson and stacking strength/life + armor as my main defense. Currently the chest is around 10 exalt so it's affordable going into T15 maps. You can also use Morior Invictus to easily reach all resistance caps. It's very possible there are alternative, better, defensive options, such as pure ES, or even going Mind Over Matter. This is just what I'm currently having success with and I know will work fine. You can easily get enough leech by just using Life Leech III on Rampage or Furious Slam which is a slight damage loss but not by much.

If you don't want to use it or are on a strict budget/ssf then just get a normal chest with as much Armour as possible, Life, Strength, #% of Armour applies to ele dmg taken, Resistances

It might be worth to ditch ES entirely and just full build Armour, this is just the gear I have atm honestly.

Still prio getting Armor/ES items with as much resist, life, and strength as possible. Try to get % of Armour applies to Ele damage taken on 2-3 items.

Aim for some flat damage on rings/gloves

On weapon prioritize getting as much flat damage as humanly possible, perfectly fine if it's any elemental damage. Ideally you want levels of melee skills and crit chance if possible.

Try to get some mana regen on rings/amulet/sceptre

Take Lord of the Wilds if you get a sceptre with a total of 139 spirit after being qualitied. Keep in mind you can use Rabbit Idol to get additional spirit. Only use the sceptre for mana regeneration + strength + flat mana.

Jewels: 1 Jewel with 2% Mana on Kill, otherwise look for Crit Chance, Crit Damage, Attack Speed, Skill Effect Duration, 2% Life on Kill if you need defense, Total Armour/ES,

Rakiata's Flow is expensive so use Fire Penetration II instead until you get the currency for it. Apparently Hourglass isnt working for Walking Calamity gg - trying other supports for it rn

Savage Fury is bugged and can be used for free if allocated to the second weapon slot
