Likely needs rework due to this, I liked this build I'll get it resolved after party play league start.

So what's all this then?

First off, you're asking, why would we do maces on a gemling? And I turn that question around and ask why would we even do maces at all... Both great questions. Great questions indeed.

One clustered mess of a reason really, Herald of Ice, Herald of Thunder and Giant's Blood vs Adaptive Capability and Enhanced Effectiveness. The Gemling effectively offsets all the nonsense and allows us to fit a satisfying build quite easily.

Is there a way to make this a complete meme?

Yes. The Hammer of Faith. - It actually works and is cheap but it makes the Stampede kind of slow... Fast hammer better. Hammer of Faith funnier.

Strengths and Weaknesses

  • Super Fast
  • Tanky (So long as you're hitting)
  • All content viable
  • Uses Maces and Armour so everything is half price
  • Herald Chaining
  • Low Phys EHP, can result in unexpected rips (not many though)
  • Chilled Ground/Temp Chains is unpleasant.

  • You need one with 5 Fewer Enemies, you want to always be surrounded.

Chest (Morior Invictus)

  • Priority - 5 Sockets, Elemental Resistance, Chaos Resistance, Attributes OR Life.

Gloves

  • Priority - 100% Increased socket effect, Armour, Life, Attack Speed
  • Socket : Talisman of Sirrius

Boots

  • Priority - 100% Increased socket effect, Movement Speed
  • Socket - Farrul's Rune of the Chase

Rings

  • Priority - Attack Damage, Resistances. One ring MUST have Phys Damage Leeched as Life.

Amulet

  • Priority - Life, Life %, Melee Skills, Global Defence, Strength, Strength %
  • Anointment: Fast Metabolism

Off Hand (Shield, Armour)

  • Priority - T1 Block Chance, Armour, Resistances

Main Hand/Weapon Switches (2h Mace, you actually want 3 of these)

  • Phys Damage, Attack Speed, Onslaught on Killing Hits, Attack Skills (Main Hand with Shield) Melee Skills (When Dual wielding)
