Welcome to my Martial Artist Flicker Strike breakdown — a fast, aggressive Monk setup built around speed, power charges,
Falling Thunder, and the beautiful chaos that is
Flicker Strike.
The whole idea is simple: generate power charges, spend them to Flicker, delete packs, rebuild charges, and keep the loop going. The use
Falling Thunder for any screen wind clears...RIP FPS.
That’s where Martial Artist gets interesting. With the right setup, we can generate charges, and turn
Falling Thunder into a massive damage payoff while
Flicker Strike becomes the speed engine that keeps us moving.

The magic is in the loop:
Whirling Assault →
Reaper's Invocation with
Profane Ritual → POWER CHARGES →
Flicker Strike →
Reaper's Invocation → if you find yourself with some spare charges, drop
Falling Thunder.
When your charge generation is smooth, the build starts to feel less like clearing and more like controlled violence. Packs disappear, ads get slapped, and your screen becomes a blur.
But let’s be real — Flicker is still Flicker.
It doesn’t care about your safety. It doesn’t politely ask where you want to go. It will teleport you into danger, into a slam, into a rare monster having the best day of its life, and sometimes directly into regret.
That’s the trade-off.
You get speed, aggression, and some of the most satisfying clear in the game — but you need to understand how the skill works, how charges are generated, and why the build can fall apart if the loop breaks.
In this guide, I explain how
Flicker Strike works on Martial Artist, how power charges fit into the setup, why
Falling Thunder is so important, and what makes this playstyle so addictive.
f you want to teleport through packs, explode the screen, and turn Monk into a lightning-fuelled menace, Martial Artist Flicker might be exactly what you’re looking for.
