Build Overview

***IMPORTANT***

If you are Suiciding a lot there are a few things you should check!

1. Your Fire Res needs to be max for both weapon sets.
2. Your MINIMUM recoup (both normal recoup and ele recoup added together) needs to be at least 70 on your character sheet in addition to the Fire damage recoup affix on your belt (Perfect essence of Insulation). If you're going MageBlood, and don't have a rare belt you must have at least 100% recoup.
3. You cannot run maps with reduced recovery of life, filter them out, Check your maps!

***CAN'T KILL WOLVES!?***

If you're unable to damage wolves, you actually need to make your wolves have more damage or deal less damage to them. If you deal more damage than they have current life you end up dealing no damage with Minion Pact I. As a results either increase level of wolves (more wolf life) or go from Minion Pact II to Minion Pact I

We're back to class Cast on Minion Death Lightning Warp Ball Lightning Tech where our mobility ability is our damaging trigger as well.

We Utilize Recoup to allow us to have infinite mana with Pyromantic Pact and infinite life and ES with Sacrosanctum

We're going to be using Arc in Cast on Minion Death for insane clear with 32 chains for offscreening mobs with our clear.

Strengths and Weaknesses

  • Really good mobility think temu blink
  • Infinite Life/Mana like old Bloodmage
  • Incredibly Budget
  • Can be clunky for the 1st 3 seconds of the map
  • Can't run "less recovery" mods on maps

Build Variants

This is our roughly 10D budget Version of the Build. We can easily scale by getting better prefixes on wand and crit as well.

Basic Gameplay Loop: Ball Lightning then Lightning Warp onto the balls for both mobility and to Trigger Cast on Minion Death for Arc for clear. This way we can move around to map super fast while Arcing with 32 Chains with lightning infusions to offscreen clear.

HOW OUR RECOUP ENGINE WORKS:

We get A LOT of recoup both on tree and on gear - specifically focusing on elemental/fire damage recoup so that when we damage ourselves with Pyromantic Pact we are able to recoup more than the damage we deal to ourselves. With low enough mana (reduced mana is great and having no mana on gear is nice) we can trigger Pyromantic Pact very frequently so that we can get to the point where we have like 10K + life recoup per second. Then with Sacrosanctum we additionally gain that same amount of life recoup as ES recoup. This way we have infinite mana, infinite life to both sustain the cost of spells from our triggers from Cast on Critical and Cast on Minion Death as well as infinite stacks of Demon Form.

Weapon + Focus: We NEED Cast speed on both our wand and focus - this can be easily obtained with a Transcendent Alloy for T0 Cast speed. If you need to go +4 on wand to get the alloy on cheaply that's also acceptable.

Weapon: +4/5 Lightning Skills = Cast Speed **NEED THESE TWO** > Spell Damage (80%+) =Crit Chance > Gain > Elemental Damage.

Body: We NEED Sacrosanctum as it enables our ES recoup for the build. Higher recoupe roll the better then most important is Implicit Spirit

Weapon Swap: We want a high rolled Widowhail to buff our quiver

Quiver: Base type doesn't matter - Corrupted skill speed mod > High proj Speed.

Amulet: +2 Spells = 30+ Spirit > Recoup = Rarity = Cast Speed > Crit > Spell Damage > Res > Attributes.

Annoint: Vulgar Methods This is a super cheap annoint. Gives crit, but way more importantly Less mana which helps our recoup engine

Belt: We just care about resistances and more importantly Perfect Essence of Insulation Fire Damage recoup mod. Life is optional

Helmet: Res cap > ES > Rarity

Gloves: Nightscale super cheap option. Get Lightning pen if possible as a corrupt.
Alternatively you can go for rare gloves with high es with good res and crit damage bonus

Boots: We don't really need MS since we use Ball Lightning and Lightning Warp for mobility, here we want the spirit alloy for a suffix for spirit and then Res cap > ES > Rarity

***IMPORTANT Minion Pact II Cast on Minion Death INFO***

Minion Pact II in our Lightning Warp is how we trigger our Cast on Minion Death Arc. This means we deal 150% of our life to kill our wolf pack minions. If we over kill our wolves, meaning our damage dealt from Minion Pact II is greater than their life, then we DON'T DO ANY DAMAGE. This means we need to do enough damage to get them to low life (35% of their HP), but not enough to overkill them, so that our Minion Instability can finish them off.

You can raise or lower your Wolf Pack minions by raising or lowering the level of Wolf Pack with higher or lower spirit gems or by using Minion Mastery.

To Respawn our Wolf Pack Infinitely we need to put Ball Lightning into Weapon Slot 2 and Lightning Warp into Weapon Slot 1. We also need to Enable Wolf Pack in Weapon Slot 1 (Lightning Warp) BUT NOT Weapon Slot 2 (Ball Lightning). This way when we cast Ball Lightning it disables our Wolf Pack and then when we cast Lightning Warp, we respawn all of our wolves, bypassing the respawn time, so we can cast Arc via Cast on Minion Death every single time we Lightning Warp.

Atalui's Bloodletting in Cast on Critical with another Arc setup in there is how we make it so we almost never suicide anymore. With a +2 Arc Prism of Belief, our single target is still insane

For Heroic Tragedy we just need it to be the OLROTH line. The actual seed number doesn't matter. We use it to convert Conduit to Knightly Tenets For less Mana.
