Build Overview

We use Rend to kill 95% of things in the map and use the Empowered Oil Barrage to kill anything that would last more than 2-3 Rends. Devour corpses every couple of screens and roll around with Lingering Illusion to generate power charges. Pounce for mobility. Wing blast can be used to gain power charges by expending Combo with the lineage support or on the offchance you can heavy stun something with it. Tribal Fury is very mandatory for the Rend clear to feel good. Lunar Assault to freeze something once every 20 seconds to maintain 60% of damage gained as cold.

Please note that I leveled this build as Essence drain until level 58. I do not expect Lich Wyvern to feel playable at all in the early game without some of the key nodes in the druid section.

This is a LOWLIFE BUILD. This means many of the points and gems in this guide will not work if your life is above 35%. To get below 35%, unspec the Lich Ascendency Node "Eternal Life" or equip the helmet that provides Eldritch Battery while in hideout. Afterwards, use a skill linked to Lifetap until your life is < 35%, then quickly respec the Lich Node before any life regeneration from other items might take you back above the low-life threshold.

Atiziri's Disdain can be replaced with a rare helmet as soon as you get 450+ ES. Ingenuity or the Unique Abyss belt with sockets based on body armour can replace a rare belt once your resists are functional without a rare belt. Curse reduction rune inside that belt can provide 100% immunity to curses. Spirit on amulet is likely required.

If you have excess spirit, use a higher level Direstrike or add in Savage Fury or both. Bhatirs Vengeance can also go on pounce to get both of those extra as cold buffs in 1 button.

If you have access to very good jewels, different pathing that takes you to the top side of the tree instead of shortcutting to the druid area can be better. This comes at the cost of 3% movement speed though so don't do that in reality.
