Overview

Incision is a Debuff related to Bleeding in Path of Exile 2.

Basic Mechanics

What is Incision?

Incision is a temporary Debuff that causes Hits against the affected target to gain a chance to inflict Bleeding. Each stack of Incision on a target applies a flat 10% chance for incoming Hits to inflict Bleeding, stacking up to a maximum of 10 times for a total 100% chance.

When Bleeding is inflicted on a target that has the Incision debuff, all stacks of Incision are removed.

Incision Magnitude

The magnitude of Incision can be scaled with relevant modifiers to Incision Magnitude or the Effect of Incision, such as the Incision Passive Skill Tree Notable. Allocating this node would improve the Effect of Incision by 50%, causing each stack to apply a 15% chance for incoming Hits to inflict Bleeding.

Interactions

Thousand Cuts

The Thousand Cuts Passive Skill Tree Notable makes Incision you inflict additionally cause targets to take 2% increased Physical Damage per stack.

Inevitable Rupture

Inevitable Rupture provides a small chance to apply 10 stacks of Incision with Attack Hits, synergizing well with Skills that Hit multiple times, such as Spearfield.
