Build Overview

This is my Lightning Spear / Storm Lance Build for Invoker Monk and it is a blaster

This Invoker Monk build has amazing clear with clearing the whole screen with 1 click similar to old double herald gameplay.

Single target with is pretty decent too.

This guide will showcase both Cheaper and Expensive version and will help you to pick the gear and correct gems. Click on the build variants down there.

Weapon:

For weapon or another Spear with 10%+ Crit chance is 100% mandatory because we need to reach 50% Crit to utilize +

For the rest of the stats aim for DPS / Crit Bonuses / Elemental or +Levels in that order.

Focus:

We are using there since Monk can stack spirit with and high def body armour. can be corrupted for 11-15% of spell damage instead of 10%.

Chest Armor:

For the body armor just focus on rolling Energy Shield prefixes to get as high ES as you canto get maximum amount of spirit from the Ascendency passive.

Hybrid Evasion + ES body is an option too but it will provide lower stun and freeze threshold.

Helmet:

We are using to combine with and receive huge DPS bonus since we are stacking spirit.

has a decent ES so is still useful.

Gloves:

Gloves are playing huge role in our DPS, rolling Physical / Lightning Damage / Crit Damage which scales greatly. We don't really need Attack Speed so focus on other offensive stats.

Boots:

At the boots we need at least 20% Movement speed to feel comfortable.

The rest is Rarity + Some Resistances.

Amulet:

Amulet can provide a lot of Critical Hit Chance and some Critical Hit damage as well. Roll Mana / Es on top of it.

For tankiness we need to anoint

It is the MAIN SOURCE OF ALL EVASION.

Rings:

At rings we can just roll stats such as Int / Dex + Lightning Damage to attacks and some resistances.

IMPORTANT Jewels:

Running Gain 10-15% of maximum Energy Shield as additional Stun Threshold is MANDATORY to avoid getting stunned.

The rest stats at jewels are Crit Damage / Crit Chance / Elemental Damage.

Flasks:

Try to get as high life regeneration number as possible to recover ES better with because we don't have other ways to recover.

can be a nice option if you have enough currency.

About Skills:

1. Use for clear while moving around, but make sure not to spam it and charge between big hits. improves mobility significantly as well.

2. is there to provide buff and enemies if you are using . Make sure that it has higher lvl so it will deal more damage.

3. is a damage improvement, so use it occasionally. Also add Inhibitor support to it, site currently cant show it.

What to do against single target:

For bossing we need to throw into single target and wait for to proc the

If you are not using automated setup is also should be activated manually.

Blink vs Rhoa:

currently provides protection from stuns, but you still can be Frozen. Since we have higher stun threshold than most life builds is not that important and can be replaced with for easier reposition.

How to Generate Charges:

To generate charges against single target + setup is the best option. But you can also try to reuse manually if you don't have enough spirit.

You can use only OR Combine it with + on for better uptime.

Spirit Issues:

For spirit you will need a very good body armour and if you don't have enough turn off + first. If it is still not enough you will need to use at packs and switching it off to activate on bosses.

How to Avoid Stuns:

In cheap version you can use + nodes.

But in this one we are going to use with Gain Additional Stun Threshold Equal to % of your maximum energy shield. You will need at least 4 of those with 10%+ (they can roll up to 15% now).

Crit Chance vs Crit Bonus:

Since this is Invoker build we will need to aim for 100% Crit Chance with to maximize effect from . So you need to aim for 50% Crit Chance and the rest of the points should go to crit bonus.

Balance this based on your weapon stats and the equipment.

How to Avoid Freeze:

is the best option for it at the moment and 100% mandatory.

Ascendency Options:

Last Ascendency is pretty flexible.

1. We can use to improve energy generation for .

2. can be used to overcharge energy shield and provide even more tankiness.

3. is a great option for single target DPS as well.
