This build uses the unique
The Last Lament crossbow to have infinite bullets when combined with Lich's
Eternal Life ascendancy node. We also use the node to set ourselves permamently to Low Life, enabling strong supports such as Direstrike II and Execute III, as well as an always-pressable
Olroth's Resolve and nodes on the tree such as
Last Stand and
Killer Instinct. Most importantly, it allows us to use the new
Tecrod's Gaze abyssal eye, which grants 10% movement speed on boots if you are Low Life, scaled to 20% with boots that have the "100% Increased effect of socketed items" modifier.
The
Eternal Life node also allows us to use the
Death Articulated unique gloves and
Berserk with no downside, reaching permanent 52 Rage with nodes on the tree and the soul cores on the helmet, granting up to 74% more attack damage.
The main enabler of the mobility part of the build is the fact that we can now reach 100% reduced movement speed penalty from using skills while moving. This is achieved through a combination of sources: 58% from the passive tree (with nodes such as
Spray and Pray,
Freedom of Movement,
Unhindered), 20% from
Corsair Coat's implicit, 12% from a
Farrul's Rune of Grace socketed in our 100% effect boots, and 10% from a desecrated boot modifier. This is a lot easier to reach if you are willing to give up your belt slot for a
Darkness Enthroned and socket 2x
Farrul's Rune of Grace there, but after the buffs in 0.2.1,
Headhunter is a must have on most endgame builds.
The rest of the shell is basic evasion/es stuff.
Subterfuge Mask with big es helmet (a little lower than most because we use rage soul cores instead of iron runes), evasion chest (would like to use evasion/es, but only the pure evasion base has reduced penalty implicit), +3 proj amulet with % and flat es. Currently sitting at 62% evasion with 40% deflect and 3.7k pool, with 15% bypass, which again abuses Lich's
Eternal Life, becoming flat 15% dr to all sources.
[0.3] Sowza's Last Lament Lich (Crossbow Galvanic Shards)
Build Overview
Strengths and Weaknesses
- Great clear with
Galvanic Shards - Kills i82 bosses in <10sec even on budget version with
Requiem - Extremely mobile
- Final version can be expensive
- Can't scale into mirror-tier due to required unique weapon
Build Variants
This version uses a lot of lightning penetration with
Leopold's Applause to scale damage instead of rage. It also runs
Shavronne's Satchel with a flask with the "% More Recovery on Low Life" Modifier to sustain energy shield easily. Since we do not have to run
Berserk, you can also use the spirit to run
Convalescence. Overall, the damage is lower than the endgame version, but it is tankier, sustains Energy Shield easily, and is much cheaper.

Convalescence
Ghost Dance

Passive Tree
Since this verison is a bit weaker, make use of weapon swap points to scale shock magnitude for big shock on pinnacle bosses.
How it Plays
Galvanic Shards is our main clear skill.
Requiem deals with bosses.
Stormcaller Arrow applies a big shock to pinnacles for free, using weapon swap points to scale shock magnitude.
Shockburst Rounds is used in case you need the extra oomph to kill a boss, in case
Requiem is still charging back up.
How it Works
We abuse infinite bolts from the interaction between
The Last Lament and
Eternal Life, as well as low life benefits from things like Direstrike II, Execute III and
Tecrod's Gaze. To set yourself to low life, equip
Visage of Ayah and cast a lifetapped spell or use the crossbow a few times. You need to be below 35% for low life threshold but also above 300 flat hp for the crossbow system to work.
