Build Overview

Lightning crossbow is a very solid starter build with a super smooth campaign and mapping experience. This season it'll be run as a pathfinder due to significant pathfinder buffs getting no sprinting stun, more damage / defence, and slight deadeye nerfs. This build also has many powerful builds to pivot to if you feel like lightning crossbow isnt for you. You can easily swap to explosive shot / grenade pathfinder, lightning arrow pf/deadeye, poisonburst pf, and more

Strengths and Weaknesses

  • Good clear
  • Good damage
  • Great leveling
  • Can't be knocked down while sprinting after 2nd lab
  • Solid all rounder
  • Grenade leveling can be clunky if skill issue, but you can also go lightning arrow / rod

Build Variants

The build starts off by leveling as grenades as it is by far the smoothest starter. You can still use Lightning Arrow / Lightning Rod as most of the nerfs were for later in the game

Crossbow: Flat lightning > Flat Phys + % phys > Flat cold > really any damage mods you can get

Rings: Flat damage / resistances > life

Gloves: Flat damage / resistances

Belt: Res / life

Body: Evasion > res > life

Helmet: Evasion > life > res

Amulet: Res > proj skills > life

Boots: Move speed > res > life
