Build Overview

This is the start of my guide for Arc Spell Totem Gemling Legionnaire. The idea is to double-dip on the quality bonuses provided from Gemling Legionnaire to skill gems since both Arc and Spell Totem have INSANE bonuses granting 6% more damage per remaining chain ( about 30 chains currently or 180% more damage) and 120% cast speed with 6 totems up.

For all stages of the guide try to have your Spell Totem around level 23, this is the minimum level for +3 totem limit while costing the least amount of mana. You can give a couple additional levels for additional totem tankiness but keep this in mind.

READ Ancestral Bond. This makes it so our totems cost spirit instead of power/endurance charges.

Setups are available for all budget levels, this build does NOT require a high budget in any way to completely crush all content in the game.

Make sure to lock your weapon and sceptre to both weapon sets and have your sets set correctly in both your passive tree and gems!!!

Here is where the true currency dumping begins. Start off by looking to pick up a better scepter with more spirit ( 200+ ). Its best to search for these using the righthand mod selector on trade site with %increased spirit rather than typing in the spirit total on the lefthand side. This way you can find deals with ones that have not slotted in a Rabbit Idol or do not have a crafted mod so that you can use a Sovereign Alloy on it.

If your body armor is pretty good at 720ish+ es and has the spirit reservation efficiency mod ( a desecration suffix ) then you can hold off on that for now but look to make a perfect one at some point with !gbody or buy one with perfect prefixes and do the suffixes yourself.

Then look to make a high-end amulet with !gamulet.

Followed by making your +2 Proj speed gloves with !ggloves.

Then finally your perfect helm with !ghelm. Slotting in a Raven-Touched Shard and anointing Thaumaturgic Generator !annoint. This allows us to use Charge Regulation so we can start working on our crit chance.

You can also pick up a +2 arc Prism of Belief in here at some point and begin slotting in big jewels with !bigjewel.

Also look to pick up a Heart of the Well with % as extra cold and another % as extra line, other good stats are crit mods or % inc spell/elemental damage.

Make sure to balance your red/blue support gems for Gem Studded , I just threw random red supports into my wand's skill and a couple other random reds to balance.

By this time also make sure you have a 21/23 Arc slotted in as it is a massive damage boost brining you to another breakpoint for 30% more damage on the quality. !21

How it Plays

FAQ

Its VERY important for single target that you have your weapon set passives set correctly in both your passive tree and gem assignments. Also MAKE SURE your last cast is either a totem or mana tempest so that you are resting in set 1 ( archmage ).

When do I swap?

Swap when you have a gear set prepared to put you around 3.5k mana and you are AT MINIMUM level 70. BOTH OF THESE TOGETHER ARE REQUIRED not 1 or the other. Mana regen on rings and spirit on both your chest and amulet are very important aswell.

Buy Low Basic Stater Set of Gears -> !gring, !wand -> Buy/Semi-Craft a Cheap Medium Budget Amulet / Scepter / Helm / Chest / Boots / Gloves !gamulet -> !gbody -> !ghelm -> !ggloves -> !fork -> Mageblood -> !ggbody -> !gsceptre

After arround 40hours of trying this build i wanna ask this , how are you suppose to farm effieciently when the build actually needs some serious items to go live? For example split personality jewel is impossible to get cause you need the item to fight the boss which you farm it from simulacrums which you cant even do unless you have spent at least 100-150 divs with current prices at least .Also farming is tedious cause of low rarity (cause you need mana and mana regen more than anything ) and of how squishy you are which makes running harder maps impossible. Am i missing something here ? Cant link ninja cause of moba but my gear is something between absolute minimum and super low budget.

No,not even remotely close bro, i am strugling with this build cause you actually need some items for it to go live and with the current prices all you will get is some shit upgrades that will not help you clear anything past the map quests. I have spent way more than 10divs (current prices) and i can barely do a t15 no tablets expedition. Also with the strugle to get some mana/mana regen you cant even get past 100 rarity which makes farming tedious to say the least. I have finished all quests etc but after that you cant do much unless you spend divs or already have some items and i am not talking about the items on the super low budget.

Word of Advice: Wait till you have close to 100k gold to swap from Nades to Totems. I made the mistake of doing the Grande to Totem swap too early (67 [DON'T DO IT!]).... now I am bricked with no gold, slow grind back to the good life. LOL

You need about 200k gold at 75, you can see the exact amount of gold required by hovering the reset all button at doryani.

On the low budget (45 DIV) passive tree how do you start at the Warrior section? Split personality? I watched the video and you mention it doesnt use that jewel?? And you also have some points at the bottom coming off the Gemling section.

That is because you do not use that jewel untill you can afford it, it was 2divines last patch. Follow the trees for the non-jewel variants and read the pages there.

Pick resist if you need resist. Movespeed if you dont. This shouldnt be hard.
