This
Infernalist can handle all content with a breeze! Thanks to the ability to use
Bind Spectre we can summon ourselves an insane army to do our bidding!
This variant of the build aims to get the most bang for our bucks in terms of summoning Spectres while also having a high Energy Shield Total!
The idea to play this build came to me from a viewer named DakiniMage and they originally directed me to Ghazzy and his variation of it which can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hGGfkW1oIXw.
Daniki provided us with their pob and they are able to clear all content in the game with this character

This variation on the other hand starts to push the limits of the amount of ants while still maintaining that tanky feeling. Currently this variation has 11 Ant
Bind Spectre and can push to 12 or more with higher investment.
How to begin playing this build
To begin you need to head on over to the Interlude and goto the Ashen Field from there you will encounter a rare ant minion named a Frozen Mandibles. You will kill this (NOTE IF YOU EXPLODE THE CORPSE THIS WILL NOT WORK) and then you will cast
Bind Spectre on the corpse and you will be able to now summon your Ant Army.
Once you have your Ant Spectre you are going to want to get your infernalist to about level 80-85 you really need to be wearing all the gear to make this play style feel smooth. Some people have suggested you could start this build earlier and it will be just fine but I personally didnt enjoy it until I had all my gear on.
For leveling this build you can approach it one of two ways. You can go
Essence Drain
Contagion and level this way until you get to the interludes and obtain the minion or you can use a twink leveling system with
Whirling Slash and
Twister from this guide here:
Either way once you level the character and have the specter you are good to go!
The more spirit you have the biggest army you have!
The goal is to have the following once leveled:
1
Skeletal Cleric
1
Skeletal Sniper
1
Skeletal Reaver
1
Skeletal Storm Mage
1
Skeletal Brute
1
Skeletal Frost Mage
AS MANY FROZEN MANDIBLES AS YOU CAN SUMMON!
Once you have all of this any left over spirit will be used to summon as many
Skeletal Cleric and
Skeletal Storm Mage as you can. I personally like having 2-3
Skeletal Cleric to keep my minions alive.
Now that we have any Army we are basically a walking forward simulator who can click loot.
The way this army works is as follows:
We use Infernal Legion III to set all of our minions on fire and kill the entire screen. We use
Skeletal Cleric to keep our minions alive.
Since we are using Muster support on our
Bind Spectre we want to make sure we have as many different REVIVING MINION types as possible allowing us to maximize the damage gained from muster. Because of this since we use a large army they all come with special features.
Skeletal Cleric - Used to heal your minions
1
Skeletal Sniper - Used to apply Blind Debuff
1
Skeletal Reaver - Used to break armor and provide more damage
1
Skeletal Storm Mage - Used to shock enemies
1
Skeletal Brute - Used to warcry and provide more damage
1
Skeletal Frost Mage - Used to freeze enemies and provide a frost shield
Since we have a large army doing its part to apply debuffs and damage gained we can also apply
Wither with all of our minions from the passive tree and giving all of our minions extra chaos damage using the various support gem from the Uber Boss. We use Tul's Stillness on our
Skeletal Frost Mage to freeze and chaos. We use Esh's Radiance on our
Skeletal Storm Mage to provide us with shock and chaos. We use Uul-Netol's Embrace on our
Bind Spectre to provide us with Break Armour and Physical and Chaos damage!
All of our minions except the
Skeletal Cleric will have Infernal Legion III to deal damage. The
Skeletal Cleric will have Brutus' Brain so they do not die. We dont need them to do damage we just need them to live!
